I brought my vehicles to neighborhood car care for years and had consistently positive experiences. Now under new ownership, this shop was not 'stress free' for me. The job ended up costing considerably more than the original quote, and when I picked up the vehicle--after spending several thousand dollars--there were still issues that needed to be addressed. The guys working at the shop did apologize, so two stars instead of one star, but I won't be using this shop again.
My initial review was for Neighborhood Auto and Stress-Free bought this business and changed just about everything. I had a value cover gasket installed on my Mercedes by Neighborhood Auto and it had a one year or 12,000 mile warranty. Since I only drive the car on the weekends and locally only, I never noticed that the problem was never fixed as the engine cover made it impossible to see and since I only drove the car 800 miles in the last 1.5 years I never noticed it was still leaking from the Value cover. DO NOT let these 5 star reviews fool you !!! I brought my car to Stress-Free Auto Care because it wouldn't start. At first, the shop appeared well-organized and professional, with security cameras that made me feel like my car was in good hands. However, my experience quickly took a turn. Took my car in for electrical issues and my relays burning out, was told it was aftermarket components causing issue even though they have been fine for over 5 years. Unplugged all my stuff and told me to go drive it only to have the same issue right when I got home. When I told them I was having the same issue I was told they didn't know what to do to fix it. I have been to Stress-Free Auto Care at least five times over the past couple of years, and every visit has been frustratingly slow. Even with an appointment, the repair for my car always takes the entire day. Sometimes they seem busy, but other times they don't--yet the wait is just as long. They even provide a live shop camera, where I can see that no one is working on my car for hours, adding to my frustration. I took my Audi A4 2010 first time at Stress-Free shop and was very happy after I received the report indicating all findings and also the quote to have the services performed. Prices are very affordable!! Keep it up with the great service!!

I was recommended this shop by my sister for a similar car issue and this month's 50% off diagnostics discount drew me in. I knew I was in good hands based on her experience. Grant was incredibly helpful with setting up the appointment and understanding the issue that had to be fixed. The shop is clean, professional and very knowledgeable and efficient. My brakes began squeaking unexpectedly and I found myself in the difficult position of a big and critical repair at an inconvenient time budget-wise. I was offered interest free financing for 90-days as well as a credit of the inspection fee to future repair within 30 days. I really appreciated the friendliness, professionalism and care shown by Grant and Jack. The shop really went the extra mile to address my needs.

Best auto service in Orange County, fair and honest pricing. Needs a new couch in waiting room. Other than that I'll bring my car every time
