Sue did in a short time what Brand X could not do. With Brand X we had to extend our contract with the owners costing us an additional $1000.00. We had gone with Brand X after submitting to both Sue and them. Big mistake. Brand X a few days from contract deadline "discovered" we were self employed. Sue saw that from the first page of the application and knew how to direct us through the steps to secure the loan. We were displaced for 5 months because of Hurricane Michael. If ever I would write Review it would be for the services I received at the hands of Sue and Waterstone Mtg. What started out as a "typical" lender search and borrowing process turned out to be anything but... You see, 2 weeks before closing on our house, my husband died suddenly. Everything changed! Was I going to be able to proceed with the purchase? Could I afford it? Things that should not have been on my radar became all I could think about. That is until Sue came to the rescue! After speaking with several lenders in town, Sue was able to utilize her expertise to "work her magic" and get my daughter's home loan approved when no one else could! She found the perfect loan program that fit her needs. Trust me - my daughter's scenario was not the easiest to work with but Sue made it happen. Sue was very helpful throughout the whole process of purchasing my new home, always available to answer my questions. Very professional and helpful. I originally started a loan w/ Wells Fargo. The loan was approved, however, the condo association, Indian Lake in Destin, was not. So, I called my real estate agent to tell her that I would not be able to purchase the condo. She asked me to please call Sue and tell her what I was experiencing. I did.
