Summer Lane Nursing Home is a purpose-built care home and provides a very good service. My sister has been a resident for almost a year and all the staff have carried out their duties at a very high standard sometimes under difficult situations. My sister is happy which helped us as a family and the staff are helpful if we do need any information. So thank you all at Summer Lane.

My husband has been here for 4 years and 4 months. He has enjoyed every moment here. He thinks all the staff are very nice and friendly and very kind to him. He is very glad that he came here, it is always kept clean and tidy, they look after him very well.

When looking for nursing/care home for my brother in law, I and my wife drew up a short list of three homes to visit. Without a doubt, this home far exceeded our expectations. On our initial visit we were met by a senior nurse who explained in detail what care they could provide, the activities undertaken and showed us the room that he would occupy. We were recommended Summer Lane by staff at another home. My son and I have been very pleased with the level of all-round care given. The entire building is very clean with plenty of window light and decorating maintenance is certainly an ongoing activity. With 7 day a week coverage, activities and entertainment are well catered for any resident, with encouragement to take part.

I am more than satisfied with care and support given at all times. Security, food, cleanliness. It is very good value for money. No faults at all.
