The move into a care home following a fall in September 2021 was an anxious one for the person I have POA. All the staff at Summer Lane were caring, patient and supportive from the outset, and I received helpful guidance to help me navigate through the paperwork and processes. When my husband was offered a place at Summer Lane, we were delighted. All of the staff are so welcoming, friendly and caring. The food is excellent, which he thoroughly enjoys, always an empty plate! It's a difficult decision to put a loved one into care, but know now we've done the right thing. Thank you all at Summer Lane.

My wife has been at Summer Lane for 15 months now. Overall, we are happy with the service we receive. One regular problem is the loss of various, but especially laundry items. Staffing often seems to be on the low side. The only meal I have seen is the 4.30 pm meal, this always looks good and is well presented. Because of the staffing situation, the girls have little or no time to spend with the residents.

My mum became a resident of Summer Lane Care Home in April 2022. She has since been very well cared for. She has a lovely room and surroundings. There is a lovely dining room for meals. The carers are so helpful, and Mum is so well looked after, and I know she is safe.

Care and food etc, for my nan, have been incredible with understanding staff who work so hard and are so willing to do everything they can for you. I have always been welcomed with a friendly smile and hello, and they do everything they can to make my nan happy. The only thing I would improve is communication between head office and relatives - just on updates on Covid rule changes etc, just to keep us updated, but I have no complaints other than that. Since moving into Summer Lane four-plus years ago. l have visited my friend twice a week and have nothing but praise for the staff, who are very professional in doing what at times can be a difficult job when it comes to meeting his daily needs. He has said that the staff are kind, caring and work hard - meals cater for individual tastes and are wholesome, and there are daily activities for residents to join in if they so wish. My mom was at Summer Lane Care home in Weston. From the first contact, my mom was treated with respect and dignity. They kept me, her daughter overseas, regularly updated on her medical care. The staff helped me Facebook time her, they were always helpful in any requests I had of them. They put my mind at ease. Polite staff, extremely professional. My mother has been a resident for nine months. She has settled in well and says that she could not ask for more. The staff are warm, friendly and professional in their approach. The facilities at the home are maintained to a high standard.

The guys and gals at Summer Lane looked after my aunt for me while I went to my son's wedding in Mexico. What a brilliant job they did, and will definitely use them again in the future. Great work from all!
