Reception staff and office staff were caring, thoughtful and most helpful to our needs. They couldn't be more kind. The home was beautiful and bright and clean. Most definitely will use them again and would recommend it to others. Thank you.

I am on the understanding that the home is now on lockdown due to the current UK circumstances, whilst it is upsetting for myself and two other sisters that we cannot visit mum, I applaud you for doing this to keep our mum and other residents safe. We find Summer Lane a very good place for Mum to be as she is well cared for and she loves the food. The staff are very friendly and the home is lovely and clean. My mother-in-law came for respite last year and loved it. She has now moved in permanently, and we as the family are very happy. As soon as you walk in, it smells nice, staff are always smiling, and you are greeted with well looked after happy residents. It's always clean, and the nursing staff try to encourage activities. Plenty of hot drinks are always offered and the facilities are very good indeed. My mother-in-law is quite fussy, and she's very happy indeed!

The home is always welcoming with friendly staff. Dads room is always clean and fresh and the staff all refer to him by name. Any queries are addressed quickly. My only criticism is that personal care possessions should not be used on other residents i.e electric razors this has happened a few times with my father's razor which we have had to go and find it. Apart from this all ok.

My father has been a resident at Summer Lane since 2017 and enjoys living there. Due to the nature of his condition, he initially had difficulty settling into his new surroundings, however, the staff were extremely supportive of him and worked patiently to minimise his distress. Two years later and Dad is very settled there, has a great relationship with the staff and carers and happily sees it as his home.

The care given to our mother when she was a resident was excellent. Very comfortable rooms. We have no problems with recommending Summer Lane Nursing Home.

I have been coming here for a very long time to visit my husband. It is a very nice place and my husband is very happy here, If he is happy then so am I. The carers are all nice and friendly and know their jobs. I don't think there is much more to say about it.

My husband has been a resident at Summer Lane for just over 1 year. I have been happy with the care he receives and have recommended it to several people. If ever there is something that concerns me I know I can approach the staff and they will sort it quickly. The monthly meetings for family members are excellent.

Lovely place, well maintained and excellent food. The rooms are good and spacious. The staff available do their best but for the size of the home and the number of residents, I do not think that enough hands-on carers are available. There seems to be more paperwork than caring and sometimes due to holiday, illness, etc. there is no replacement for activities and so residents are left in the lounge with just the television.
