My mother was recent here for recovery from a fall. The care she received from the staff and therapy staff was exceptional. Everyone we worked with were compassionate, caring and helpful. Recoveries and care of our loved ones is complex and multi faceted. This can be a stressful time for patient and family members. Sunnyvale Post-Acute does an excellent job helping us through the process. The facility itself is bright, clean and welcoming. We would recommend this facility.

My mother was recently in care here, and had a wonderful time. The staff was kind, loving, and extremely attentive, administration was communicative, and the food was delicious. The facility was clean and has lovely church service that really helped her emotionally.

I've been at Sunnyvale Post-Acute Rehab Center since May 7, 2005, to care for my right foot. I enjoy been in their Activity Room to eat lunch. Also sitting upright at the table allows me to write my poems and haikus. When I wish to return to my Room 12B, I'd clap my hands, snap my fingers, whistle to get attention from the CNA nurses. I've been at Sunnyvale Post-Acute Rehab Center since May 7, 2025, to care for my right foot. I enjoy being in their Activities Center to eat lunch. Also sitting upright at the table allows me to write my poems and haiku. When I wished to return to my room, I'd clap my hands, snap my fingers, whistle to get attention from the CNAs. I want to espresso my gratitude to the staff at Sunnyvale Post Acute. The administrative team (Angellica S., Matthew J. and Amanda) who ensure that all my needs as my mother's advocate are met in a timely and professional manor. Additionally I want to express my thanks to RNA Michael and RNA Brian as I know my mother is in good hands and well looked after when they are on shift. The team definitely cares about my mother's well being while she is a long term resident.

Finding ourselves in an unexpected and frightening situation far from home was something our family could have never prepared for. My dad's condition was rare, sudden, and incredibly scary. We were grateful he was still with us, but we knew the road ahead would be long and full of unknowns. I chose Sunnyvale Post-Acute Center for my father to be transferred to for therapy after having surgery at El Camino Hospital. I live in another state, so things were a little rough at first, and definitely an adjustment for my father, but after the Admissions Director, Jessica Tieu stepped in, everything started to fall into place. I want to express my appreciation & acknowledge Jessica, Zaldy, Angelica, Karla & Matthew. They are definitely in the people business. As Hispanics, it's not our custom to leave our parents at facilities due to their stigma of neglect & making people feel uncomfortable. My mom is very hardheaded and picky, but she was comfortable there during her 3 weeks stay. The facility was very clean. The first night there, my mother's neighbor was allergic to flowers.
