4.5 STARS if there was one. I had an overall good experience at this rehab facility referred by Kaiser where I stayed for more than 2 weeks. Most of the nurses and all of the PT staff I interacted with were specially fantastic. Nurse Jeneley and Vanessa were my favorites, as they were on top of my shifting circumstances instead of sticking to old orders that needed updating. Some of the nicest, kindest people ever work here! From the second you enter the Center you are greeted warmly by the wonderful, kind and knowledgeable front desk personnel.   We put our Dad here after his stroke, because Sunnyvale Post-Acute Center was highly recommended. What did it for me initially is when someone I trust from the previous care-facility said to me that "if it was my Dad, I'd send him to Sunnyvale Post-Acute Center".   The place looks GREAT! My dad was sent here from hospital after having a stroke. First impression was not great actually as it's a busy afternoon and we thought he'd be sent to a place that's walking distance from his apartment so my mom can come to see him as needed. Don't know where the process was broken and we'd been then working on having him transferred. He'll finally transfer today after 9 days staying here. This is the best place you can take your elderly parents for recuperation. They took excellent care of our father. Their service was above and beyond our expectation. The staff are professional. They have a very clean and safe environment. They provide physical therapy and engaging activities for the seniors. I cannot thank them enough.

My father stayed at Sunnyvale Post-Acute Center for the last two weeks of his life after he suffered from stroke and was on comfort care. This facility was the best compared with other two post acute centers that my father had stayed prior to coming here. Front desk people were very nice, they were quite flexible to even let me come in outside of regular visiting hours to stay with my father.
