This was not the best place for service. We sat down and it took an hour before everyone got their food. In fact the sushi rolls came out last before the hot cooked food. Our drinks was served in piece meal - one person at a time. We got our food but no place setting - were we suppose to eat with our hands? My order was wrong when is it was served so they had to do it all over again. Then when the bill came, our fiend had enough to comp the entire meal but the server didn't say anything until we asked. If we didn't ask, we w... read more

The rolls were really good and different then the normal in town. The seating was a bit cramped and the noise level a bit excessive but that's to be expected on a Saturday night in downtown. They were still quick to get us in and with the rolls so yea it's worth it.

It was Saturday evening and we had a party of three. We walked up to get seated and was told by one of the staff there's a wait and someone was ahead of us. The odd part was we were first in line and no one was ahead of us. I stated that I didn't mind waiting. That's when Itsy came and told us "there's just some miss communication and we should be seated next". Itsy was very well informed, attentive and professional. Thanks to her our evening became a better experience. We ordered a few rolls and they all tasted very good. T... read more

My wife and I have become sushi connoisseurs over the years of all you can eat sushi in the reno area. Hiroba and Tha Joint are two of our favorites but Sushi Sake at Roxy Bistro is by far our number 1. This is the only place in Reno that stands alone in my opinion. The fish is the freshest and you can tell it isn't the typical pre frozen fair like other spots in the area. If you haven't tried Sushi Sake yet, put it on your list!

Food was great, but the service is terrible. I was here for the buffet and never got everything I ordered. It took about 30 mins just to get my seaweed, edamame, and miso soup. And my dessert never came out.

Waited in line 35 minutes, however the manager decided to bump two young ladies from the back of the line in front of us, then a group of 3 who weren't even in line. Don't waste your time with this place.

Not bad for Reno! Don't get me wrong there are plenty of great places to eat in Reno, NV, but this one happens to be the freshest in the area if you are into Sashimi. Michael is the Sushi Chef here at this establishment and he is perhaps one of Reno's greatest. He uses fresh imported ingredients from countries like Taiwan and Japan. If you are a big fan of pure raw fish then you must order the Sashimi 6 or 12 pieces. This sushi joint also has an all you can eat, but you'll be missing out on the Sashimi pieces. I spent $40 fo... read more

Sushi Saki is an average sushi joint. The menu was some what limited compared to other sushi joints in Reno. There was a small variety of nigiri, and there were too many rolls that had crystal shrimp. With all the competition in Reno a strong menu is important. With that being said, the rolls and nigiri that my boyfriend and I ordered were very fresh and yummy! I always get a Godzilla to compare sushi joints, and this was the best Godzilla I have ever had!! There was the perfect amount of crunch on the exterior and the insid... read more

Horrible. It took 50 minutes to get a poke bowl. That is a cold 2 minute dish??? It was 930 pm and not even busy. I got my hamachi within a reasonable time but the poke came 35 minutes later. Our wine was gone (a bottle) by the time it got there. Also had asked for no spice and of course it came with spice. Who ruins ahi tuna with saracha anyway. Trailer way of spicing up tuna. The quality of the fish was also terrible. Frozen saku block. Really not even worth my time to wroite this review it wa so bad. The server then didn... read more
