The word sushi refers to the seasoned rice used in making one of the most ubiquitous foods in Reno!. While the rice is cooling, the sushi chef fans and adds a sweetened rice vinegar seasoning to it, and this seasoning is meant to accentuate the flavors of certain fish served over it. Having only eaten sushi in Reno for a long time now, I have just about completely forgotten what great seasoned sushi rice is supposed to taste like, and settled for the good sushi rice our restaurants use. Well the other night that all changed,... read more

Service was good and the sushi options were ok, and the taste was pretty good. It was a bit loud but because it was right next to a fountain and inside a downtown casino, i was not really surprise. For less than $20 for an all-you-can-eat sushi dinner, it's definitely worth it.

Waited to be sat four 10 min and were the only ones in line. Then it took forever to get our drinks ordered. After looking at the very limited menu we ordered. I ordered the seered ahi nigiri it was ok but not great. had been sitting to long. The first two rolls had bad tuna it was warm and tasted bad enough to make me sick. When we complained about the tuna the management got very defensive and insulting. Our salad and pot stickers made it right as we were leaving What a joke. I have made it a point to eat at every sushi ba... read more

Some of my favorites: salmon skin roll, dynamite (no habaneros for me), Nigiri: sake, unagi, like most all you can eat sushi places it had its pluses and minuses. I'm allergic to shellfish, eggs, etc, so it was nice that they were able to make rolls without crab, egg, mayo, shrimp, etc you simply needed to write it on the ticket. The prices were higher than listed on the website by one or two dollars. Needless to say we ate enough sushi to be followed by what I would fondly refer to as sushi coma, so most things were pretty ... read more

Good service, but the sushi is mediocre. There aren't as many options as one usually finds as a sushi joint. Also, the seaweed used to wrap the sushi was not fresh--it was tough to chew.

Don't even think about it. If you have already been exposed to Asian food culture, this place would be an absolute nightmare for you. They don't even know how to cook their rice properly. No offense to the people who have low standards for sushi, but this place is running its business off of people who don't know how real sushi tastes like. We did the all-you-can-eat deal, we ordered some nigiri and special rolls. First of all, they are extremely short-staffed, we waited almost 20 minutes before we were even looked at. When ... read more

Great, fresh. All the chefs very nice. Lots of extra appetizers. Come here at least twice a month. I like weekend bites the music from the Roxy bar.

This is one of my favorite place to eat whenever I'm in town. They serve and make quality sushi every time. I love the all you can eat buffet which allows to eat all the items instead of the items they want you to have. The price is also great at $23.99 which is the 25% off price on certain evenings which includes a dessert. This is my third time here and it never disappoints.
