No earlybird special this time of year. The early crew were very slow attending to the counter for as slow as business was. Little did that crew know My generosity. However the sushi was excellent as usual.
Sushi Sake all you can eat ! That's what the sign says. Don't be fooled its all you can eat Sushi, appetizers and desert and no sake but its still a good deal. Worth it. Great area to dine Good food Great service Price not that great
Slow service, less than half the menu of any other Ayce sushi establishment, & SHELLFISH POISONING!!! Imagine having to drive 4+ hrs home to California & having to stop every 25 min in search for a restroom. Not a fun experience. As I ate that last mussel, I had a bad feeling I would end up paying for it, as they were a little too warm meaning they might've been sitting around for a while. Staying far away from this place next trip to reno.
Wow! What a great value! What an amazing staff! My husband and I were looking for a place to eat and watch the Mayweather fight. Not only did they have the fight, they also had a $26.99 eat-all-you-can deal that included apps like baked mussels to specialty rolls and desserts! We were surprised and delighted by how much food was available abs delicious! Although tools like .My Ex Girlfriend and the G Spot were good, the agedashi tofu rocked by world in its deep fried simplicity. The staff, particularly Glenda, was absolutely... read more
The word sushi refers to the seasoned rice used in making one of the most ubiquitous foods in Reno!. While the rice is cooling, the sushi chef fans and adds a sweetened rice vinegar seasoning to it, and this seasoning is meant to accentuate the flavors of certain fish served over it. Having only eaten sushi in Reno for a long time now, I have just about completely forgotten what great seasoned sushi rice is supposed to taste like, and settled for the good sushi rice our restaurants use. Well the other night that all changed,... read more
Service was good and the sushi options were ok, and the taste was pretty good. It was a bit loud but because it was right next to a fountain and inside a downtown casino, i was not really surprise. For less than $20 for an all-you-can-eat sushi dinner, it's definitely worth it.
Waited to be sat four 10 min and were the only ones in line. Then it took forever to get our drinks ordered. After looking at the very limited menu we ordered. I ordered the seered ahi nigiri it was ok but not great. had been sitting to long. The first two rolls had bad tuna it was warm and tasted bad enough to make me sick. When we complained about the tuna the management got very defensive and insulting. Our salad and pot stickers made it right as we were leaving What a joke. I have made it a point to eat at every sushi ba... read more
Some of my favorites: salmon skin roll, dynamite (no habaneros for me), Nigiri: sake, unagi, like most all you can eat sushi places it had its pluses and minuses. I'm allergic to shellfish, eggs, etc, so it was nice that they were able to make rolls without crab, egg, mayo, shrimp, etc you simply needed to write it on the ticket. The prices were higher than listed on the website by one or two dollars. Needless to say we ate enough sushi to be followed by what I would fondly refer to as sushi coma, so most things were pretty ... read more
Good service, but the sushi is mediocre. There aren't as many options as one usually finds as a sushi joint. Also, the seaweed used to wrap the sushi was not fresh--it was tough to chew.
