Waited in line 35 minutes, however the manager decided to bump two young ladies from the back of the line in front of us, then a group of 3 who weren't even in line. Don't waste your time with this place.

Not bad for Reno! Don't get me wrong there are plenty of great places to eat in Reno, NV, but this one happens to be the freshest in the area if you are into Sashimi. Michael is the Sushi Chef here at this establishment and he is perhaps one of Reno's greatest. He uses fresh imported ingredients from countries like Taiwan and Japan. If you are a big fan of pure raw fish then you must order the Sashimi 6 or 12 pieces. This sushi joint also has an all you can eat, but you'll be missing out on the Sashimi pieces. I spent $40 fo... read more

Sushi Saki is an average sushi joint. The menu was some what limited compared to other sushi joints in Reno. There was a small variety of nigiri, and there were too many rolls that had crystal shrimp. With all the competition in Reno a strong menu is important. With that being said, the rolls and nigiri that my boyfriend and I ordered were very fresh and yummy! I always get a Godzilla to compare sushi joints, and this was the best Godzilla I have ever had!! There was the perfect amount of crunch on the exterior and the insid... read more

Horrible. It took 50 minutes to get a poke bowl. That is a cold 2 minute dish??? It was 930 pm and not even busy. I got my hamachi within a reasonable time but the poke came 35 minutes later. Our wine was gone (a bottle) by the time it got there. Also had asked for no spice and of course it came with spice. Who ruins ahi tuna with saracha anyway. Trailer way of spicing up tuna. The quality of the fish was also terrible. Frozen saku block. Really not even worth my time to wroite this review it wa so bad. The server then didn... read more

I tried to give this a chance twice but it couldnt make the cut. The sushi is ok at best. Roll's were very loose and crumble upon contact. Seafood was ok and fresh. Mussels have been continuously rubbery as bad as frozen bubble gum. The worst part about my dinner was the waitress johnnie. She acted like she had alot of better things to and fumbled my order multiple times on 1 sitting. She very spacey acted put out everytime i needed a refill.

Desert sushi? Located between the El Dorado and Silver Legacy you can find fresh fish! Both a la carte and all you can eat ($30) are available depending on how hungry you are. There is a good selection of all you can eat menu items. Hamachi was great, salmon (good for farmed), tuna and more. They also offer a ton of house special rolls but I prefer to keep things simple! We sat at the sushi bar and the dishes were nicely paced. Good service! I'll likely be back on the next Reno trip!

Kind of a harsh review, I know. There are so many great restaurants in the Eldorado, I just don't understand how this one exists. Sushi Chefs... they generally smile and talk to the customers. Although we did not sit at the Sushi Bar this time, across the room I noticed that not one of the 3 Sushi Chef ever uttered a word or cracked a smile. And we were there for over an hours (because the service that is slow at the actual Sushi Bar, is even slower at the tables.) While our waitress was young and sweet and actually quite p... read more

I have a love hate relationship with Sushi Saki -- I want to LOVE it but I have hate it! Located in the Eldorado Casino (in front of the steakhouse/downstairs from Roxy) it's a perfect location. #1 I live across the street #2 I game at ELD! AYCE sushi was a bit of a let down. They do some creative rolls but extremely ricey. The Basil Roll use to be the saving grace but the last one I ordered it; it was mostly rice and swimming in the spicy basil oil. It was more like soup the sushi. The service drives me nuts. I usually ord... read more

Head Chef Khun has been around the Reno scene for a long time. I remember him back from Benihana at the Flamingo Hilton! Anyways, he's no longer doing Teppanyaki. He's go to guy at Sushi Saki. Sushi here is a nice change of pace from anywhere else in Reno. There's some usual favorites but Chef Khun is more known for his skills at cutting nigiri. Because this isn't a large sushi bar like the others in town, he keeps quality in control. My only negative feedback is what he doesn't control. Servers here always seem lost and pri... read more
