Sushi sake 01.17.2026 It starts when we call to make reservations the night before. We reach the restaurant via phone through our hotel's concierge, confirm the reservation for next evening, and go on about our day. Fast forward to the time of our reservation, we show up on time and wait for at least 5 minutes before any host greets us. Confused we attempt to check in for our booking, none was recorded. Absolutely loved the small vibe of this place. The menu was small which was as actually perfect because you could tell they perfected every roll on the menu. Our server was so sweet. Wish I could remember her name!! Overall loved this place but minus a star for the nigiri.

Located right by the Eldorado Casino is Sushi Sake. We came here 30 minutes after they opened, which was around 4:30 PM. There was no time to be seated. The waiter had great customer service. Here are all the list of items we ordered. 1. Miso soup 2. Mexican Long Roll 3. Dynamic 4. Volcano Everything was so delicious and fresh. The spiciness from the habanero was perfect. The portion size was big. Definitely will be back.

The nigiri was really good with a "great" fish to rice ratio. Fish was fresh, tender and delicious. Servers were very attentive and helpful. Ambience was upbeat, but way too much smoke wafting about for or our liking. Not really surprising though, since it's located in a casino. I feel good about recommending the restaurant.

I've never had a bad toll here and the sashimi is never fishy, always fresh. If you are in Reno and want sushi this is the place to go.

Our favorite sushi in Reno. Freshest fish. Once you come here you can't go back to all you can eat. We love Chef Khoun. We usually just tell him what we like and he makes the most delicious creation for us. We love sitting at the bar and chat with him too.

Excellent sushi. I've eaten in a LOT of sushi restaurants and this was amongst the best. A very extensive menu, high quality, and priced quite reasonably. It's very small, so if it's a busy time of day expect a wait. But, it's worth it. Kudos for actually giving me a substantial amount of extra wasabi instead of skimping like many places do. Highly recommended!

A small space but worth the wait We always come back for whenever we stay in Reno. Service is okay, they would hand roll your dish fresh, you can see them do it when you are seated at the bar.

Nothing super duper. Okay is about right. Fish roe, tobiko, tasted way, way too crunchy, like grocery store bought, not even really. Others okay, but nothing stood out. Seemed rather ordinary, given it's in a casino hotel. Unagi, fresh water eel, was already prepared in a vat and sitting in sauce. It tasted okay. Inquired a bit - bought already grilled and frozen. A defrost, heat and and serve item. Made in...wait for it...China.
