We arrived with a party of 10. The bar had 12 seats. The denied us service, that the party was too large and they needed to keep turning the bar over. They lost out on a huge sale. Terrible terrible service.

Once again it really sucks going out to eat during these pandemic times. The sushi chefs were attentive and we're helping the one server who was also bussing tables and the bar. I waited at least 15 min for a glass of water and at least 20 minutes for a beer. Though the meso soup was amazing, I had 2 bowls. The tuna was mushy, and the salmon skin hand roll wasn't crispy. Absolutely marvelous food! My family was hungry and tired after wandering the casinos looking for decent food without a huge line. We chose this place after noting the prices on the menu were reasonable. What a pleasant surprise to discover the sashimi was the best we've ever had, and the rolls were unique and amazing. I was especially entertained by my teenager having to say "G Spot" (the name of one of our rolls) several times out loud. Tee hee hee! This place is fantastic! We're here from California, and I know it's lame, but I was totally prejudiced going here. Inland sushi just never seems right, and sushi at a casino? Lol .. But man, this place has it down. The fish was all fresh and really good. The sage roll was different than anything we've had before, and the three of us really enjoyed it The service was great. Just don't bother going here. The Service: We went on a Saturday at 4:30. We were given the last two seats at the bar (on the far end). Other than asking us if we wanted to buy a cocktail, the server did not check on us even once. We eventually had to ask the sushi chef to call a server down to us. The server went to another couple a few spots down from us and then returned to the far end of the bar. When we were brought the check, it was dropped off and left without a word. Beautiful restaurant! Sushi made right in front of you! Staff was amazing and quick! Genuinely felt the passion in this beautifully made sushi! 9.5/10 for the soul fact that it's Reno and people are everywhere! Beautifully made martini but could've lived without the gram cracker on the edge. Thank you Sushi Sake for an amazing experience.

Very poor service. Hostess/server blamed COVID fir their rudeness and said everyone is rude, even customers. Obviously not the place to go to feel valued. Ended up at Roxys upstairs at the bar area, were immediately seated and served. Irene at Roxys was awesone!!!

Came here on a date night, turned out to be a perfect spot. Perfect ambiance and I loved how the staff was friendly and very receptive. Got a drink at the bar inside before we got sat down and enjoyed some delish sushi prepared by an amazing sushi chef.
