Servers were working hard but not smart. It was a fairly busy Saturday night. Poor quality fish in that it was not fresh. The large hot sake was definitely large to their credit.
It's my go to sushi place in the ROW. I enjoyed their sushi and the sushi chefs are nice. I always sit on the bar and they were fast getting my order ready. The price is not bad being in a hotel. Come and check them out.
My crew and I stopped in Reno for the night. Decided we wanted to get some sushi. I come from a smaller town that has limited Japanese choices. Personally, I feel the price was more than reasonable. The chef was awesome and made great conversation. I ordered the Volcano Roll, Godzilla Roll, and Caterpillar Roll along with Wakame seaweed salad, and hot sake. The presentation was beautiful, very delicious, and I will be coming back ASAP.
They were busy but had great service, this was the best sushi we have had from any place we have tried so far in Nevada. If you want great sushi you need to stop at the Eldorado and get some from sushi sake. You will not be disappointed at all!!!!
K Houn was amazing sushi chef! I was beyond amazed with their sushi and he was fantastic!
We arrived with a party of 10. The bar had 12 seats. The denied us service, that the party was too large and they needed to keep turning the bar over. They lost out on a huge sale. Terrible terrible service.
Once again it really sucks going out to eat during these pandemic times. The sushi chefs were attentive and we're helping the one server who was also bussing tables and the bar. I waited at least 15 min for a glass of water and at least 20 minutes for a beer. Though the meso soup was amazing, I had 2 bowls. The tuna was mushy, and the salmon skin hand roll wasn't crispy. The shooters had maybe chili oil and it was probably one of the worst quail egg shooters I've ever had at any sushi restaurant. Might be back for that perfe... read more
Absolutely marvelous food! My family was hungry and tired after wandering the casinos looking for decent food without a huge line. We chose this place after noting the prices on the menu were reasonable. What a pleasant surprise to discover the sashimi was the best we've ever had, and the rolls were unique and amazing. I was especially entertained by my teenager having to say "G Spot" (the name of one of our rolls) several times out loud. Tee hee hee! Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely make a point of coming here a... read more
This place is fantastic! We're here from California, and I know it's lame, but I was totally prejudiced going here. Inland sushi just never seems right, and sushi at a casino? Lol .. But man, this place has it down. The fish was all fresh and really good. The sage roll was different than anything we've had before, and the three of us really enjoyed it The service was great. It was like 8:30 on a Saturday, and there was a short line, but we were seated within 5ish minutes. Jessie and Zoë were both attentive and responsive. W... read more
