Great sushi here for a very reasonable price. Every time I come here the food is very, very good and much cheaper than anywhere else!!

I've known Koon for almost 25 years and he and his well trained staff do a remarkable job on every level. I would highly recommend this sushi restaurant to anyone visiting Reno. Thanks for all your excellent and professional service Koon.

My wife loves the sashimi platter. I must agree that the fish is fresh and it's served with real crab Cali rolls. I like the outdoor feel of the sushi bar seating here. It's right next to the Eldorado Neptune fountain and Roxy's. The sushi chefs can be engaging if you like. If you want quiet, they will conversate with other patrons. Mixture of couples and single sushi afficandos.

I come here every weekend. Great food great service. Why 1 Star? I'm Tired of waiting 1-5 hours for a seat for just 1 person. It's like fast food; You have to stand in line. No list, no reservation. It's a spit in the face to regulars and returning guests. Let me put my name down or make a reservation and I'll change my review.

My husband was in the mood for a California roll, and that is what he always orders. He was enjoying that, and I had miso soup when the couple next to us recommended the Hulkbuster roll. It was delicious! All of the ingredients were very fresh, and the service was prompt. My husband wanted to order another roll but was so full he wants to go back tomorrow and so do I. We are visiting from out of town, or we would go here more often.

If i could give negative stars i would. Horrible customer service. Workers pretty much seem like they hate there job. We felt that the waitress was being racist as she sat a couple before us while we had been standing there for a hour waiting after she had told us to stand to the side and wait for the sushi bar to be open. Ofcourse as soon and the sushi bar opened a couple came and got sat immediately before us when we said something to her all she did was roll her shoulders and say oh well. Like are you kidding me? Would've loved to have eaten here so I could rate the food. This low rating is the poor service we received on Saturday night, July 18. There were 4 of us. The hostess told us that the wait would be 30 minutes when we arrived at approx 9pm. Our husbands waited that 30 minutes while we went and played some slot machines. A half an hour later, our husbands called to tell us that this restaurant said they would no longer serve us because they were closed!! They told us they could give us 4 rolls for our wait but that was it!!! ... read more

There were only a portion of restaurants open when I visited over July 12 - 17, 2020, and bars had just been closed back up, but I'm so glad this place was serving. Sushi Sake was open Tues - Saturday for dinner at the time of my trip. Molly, Khoun, and Winston made us all feel right at home and had us giggling with witty one liners the entire time. So haven't tasted the food but it's a 1 star i ordered to go and they weren't able to give me hot sauce to go or miso soap so it's kind of ridiculous
