My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Sushi Sake. Molly had a contagious smile, and made us feel like VIPs. We will definitely be back again soon! Thanks again for the outstanding service!

Generous 3 stars. I'd stick with Kanpai by circus circus. Makes me want to give Kanpai Sushi 1 more star because it's better than here. Service all around was good. Seemed like Roxy's was very friendly. Here was so so. Just look at the pictures. The quality is oddly off. Miso was good. California roll was good. Easy stuff here. Veggie roll? What we got didn't match the menu. It was raw uncooked veggies. No problem. The menu states vegetable tempura/avocado/teriyaki cooked roll. It wasn't cooked or tempura? Sushi combo. Look... read more

I recently had dinner at Sushi Sake, and even though I don't eat any seafood, I loved the food, staff, and ambiance of the restaurant. A friend and I sat at the bar and had the opportunity to chat with the man behind the sushi bar (I'm blanking on his name), and he was super friendly and actually recognized my friend, which I thought was nice. I had edamame beans, a yummy personally customized veggie roll, and hot sake. It was my first time eating there, and I would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Had ayce which was okay. Everything tasted good, chef and servers were cool. Not that rice heavy, although our chef seemed to compress the nigir Chef wouldn't serve me single nigiris which I felt was frikkin weird for ayce. I would have liked to have one piece of each of the nigiri to try a little of everything, but he would only serve pairs which doesn't make sense as it's not any more or less work for him.

I've been here on several occasions and each time the sushi was just okay. The service wasn't that great either. I was sat quickly but then forgotten about at my table. It's convenient and smart to have a sushi restaurant in the casino, but I wish the service and food was better than subpar. If you have time, I suggest finding another sushi spot around Reno or Sparks instead of eating here.

Very happy with the service. When we arrived (Friday night 8:00pm) they told us there was no table for five available at the moment and the wait was indefinite. We decided to sit at the bar but we could not hear each other and informed our server we were just going to leave. She told us to hang on and see if her manager had a solution. Jeff came to help and got us a table for five without issue. I don't know why it took so long to figure out but happy we got to eat here because the food is top notch. Shout out to Jeff for he... read more

Its a small sushi bar, about 3 sushi display fridge bar wide and some tiny stand alone tables. It fronts Roxy's and you can enjoy the live music coming down from the Martini bar. Got a cabbage/cuke salad and the $29 sashimi and cal roll plate. Its shareable. The sashimi pieces were cut thick and large, but were separated by the grain easily to make smaller pieces. The Cal roll had a lot of real crab and luscious avocado pieces tightly rolled. Liked that it had more crab than rice. Served by a friendly and talkative sushi che... read more

Only leaving a four-star review because the ambiance isn't out of this world. This is primarily due to its location in the El Dorado. The sushi, however, is very good. I know it's surprising if you're from out of town, but Reno has some VERY good sushi. My parents and I come here a lot for the all-you-can-eat deal and sit at the bar. It's always more convenient and faster if you sit at the bar. If you're in downtown Reno and craving sushi, stop in here! Then, grab a drink at Roxy's afterward. There's usually live music in th... read more

The sushi is always very good and for a little over $30 you can do all you can eat. Well worth it if you can put away 3+ rolls. The place gets very busy/crowded and depending on how many people are in your party you might have to wait an hour or more. The chefs are awesome and friendly. The only reason I knocked a star off was because of the wait staff. Dylan in particular...
