Very dishonest. Told the insurance company it was the home owners fault that it over heated. Would not recommend to anyone!

Business response:

We do not have anyone in our system at this address or name. We are sorry that they feel we are dishonest, but if we don't have a correct address or name of the client that we were dishonest with, we are not able to review the case and see what we could have done to team up for a solution.

AWEFUL... see above. I highly recommend the other authorized Trane dealer in town Precision Plumbing and Heating.

Business response:

This was a series of misfortunate events. We apologize that four years ago we let (member name removed) down. Since this incident we have gown and bettered our business by improving and providing a higher standard of service for our clients. I have spoken with the sales representatives and those originally involved in this incident that are still with our organization. Below I have outlined the information gathered after reviewing this case: • Our service technician was at (member name removed)'s home and found a crack in th... read more

See above!

Business response:

We appreciate (deleted member name) critique of our attentiveness to time and responsiveness to his need. As a service company we strive to meet and exceed our customer’s needs and requests. In this situation, (deleted member name) has left out a few details in his complaint. The client called at 10:02am on 3/29/13 he informed the office that he thought that the main shower line was stripped where the shower head attaches. He stated that it has been slow leaking for a few years and he just arrived back from Florida and it wa... read more

Called and was confirmed an appointment from 10 to 2 pm so I took the after noon off to meet with the technician. When confirming my appointment with the awesome and professional receptionist, she indicated that the technician would call when in route. Great. At 2:35pm there had been no contact and so I called to check the status. She indicated that the technicians can get backed up and were running a little later than planned. That can happen, but it would be nice to let the customer know as to keeping the promise that was ... read more

Business response:

customer called to set up an appointment and was given an estimated arrival time of 10:00a – 2:00p. As we explained on the phone to him, we need time to be able to meet all customer’s needs and appreciate the flexibility as technicians can sometimes run into intricate situations and jobs may take longer than anticipated. We do understand that it was an inconvenience to him, and apologized for our oversight in not calling prior to 2pm to advise that the technician was running behind. We do understand that time is money, and t... read more

GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!!!!!!! We had a problem with the 5 1/2 year old furnace in our house. It was reluctant to fire up when the thermostat called for heat and it was getting worse, so we called Team Bob's. They came out quickly and found the source of the problem -- a burned-out restrictor orifice. It's just a small black plastic disc that looks like it should cost $2.00, but when it's cold outside and your furnace isn't working, you're in a fairly weak position to negotiate price, so I didn't squawk. I didn't squawk wh... read more

Business response:

Regarding customer’s original statement, when he felt that he was in a “fairly weak position to negotiate pricing,” it is not our policy to negotiate prices. As with all of our customers, customer was fully informed of the service call fee at the time of his initial call for service, and was also fully informed of the prices for repairs, before the repairs were completed. Our company policy is to use flat rate book pricing, which includes the part, labor, and warranty, and any additional charges beyond the quoted service cal... read more

I phoned Bob's Team to repair my gas furnace, which had symptoms of flame rollout and burner timing issues. Bob's Team did nothing to resolve the issues, but did charge me $220.00 to clean a already clean(according to the tech) furnace! Very frustrating experience. I am now out $220.00 and have still have a dangerous furnace. Thank's Team Bob's. I would also add that the technician recorded carbon monoxide in the home and provided no cause of the carbon monoxide or possible solutions. I take that back, he did provide a solut... read more

When the initial complaint was brought to our attention by Angie’s List the client was listed at a particular address in Traverse City, Michigan. During our due diligence, we reviewed the address and name within our database and found that we do not have a client with this address and did not complete service of any kind within the last ten years to anyone with this name or address. In checking Google Maps, we found that this address does not exist. We advised Angie’s List of this and requested that the false claim be remove... read more

the did not do a good job, the furnace leaked cold air (AC was running) I asked them to seal the leaks, one guy said they could not be sealed, then the other guy did seal it The heat pump (AC) makes a terrible noise, I told the sales person that I wanted a quite AC, they told me it would be quite, but it makes several times the noise as my previous AC did. I have had them come out to service my equipment several times in the two years I have had it, it just stops running, I have to turn off the furnace and turn it back ... read more

After getting a quote on fixing our furnace, we decided to call around and check other companies pricing. Bobs would have charged us more than double what we were quoted from other companies. Not only that, but they charged us $95.00 for the trip here, and when he realized he didn't have the part we needed on his truck, he said it would cost us an addition $60.00 just for him to go pick up the part. As if it's our fault he came unprepared for the trip. On top of that, they wanted to charge an extra $144.00 for labor because ... read more

Business response:

In this instance, our Service Manager did reach out and spoke with the client to get more information and get an understanding of why this was such a difficult experience. In the correspondance between the client and our Service Manager a resolution was made. An excerpt from the final email from our Service Manager to the client: I do understand your concern in that you may have spent money unnecessarily. We do our best to perform at the highest level of service possible, but as humans unfortunately it is always possible to ... read more
