I’m so irritated. We dined in this evening for dinner. Our waiter was Darren S. We ordered a slice of chocolate cake and a blueberry cheesecake pop tart to go. We didn’t check the bag until we got back to our hotel. The chocolate cake was there but in place of the pop tart was a single peach. A peach. I didn’t even know the restaurant served them. I was charged for the pop tart. If we weren’t so far away at the hotel I’d go back. I’m so irritated. I feel like this was done intentionally - and yes we tipped.
The food was just okay. A friend recommended this place, and it was not great. I thought it would be a good lunch spot, and maybe the other locations are better, but this Ted's was mediocre. The crispy chicken sandwich was okay; it needed some flavor. My husband's steak was cold, chewy, and horrible, and my son's roast beef was cold and lacked flavor. My daughter's grilled cheese with the short rib was average too. We came here for a good lunch after her graduation but were sorely disappointed!
Pretzels were burnt. Salmon entre was dry. Disappointed.
Poor and inattentive service; foul-mouthed patrons, extremely loud music, and poor quality food. Would not recommend this Ted's to anyone; the location on 14th St and Swann is far superior.
Food was salty and table and plates were sticky. our server was the nicest guy and really went above and beyond. Not sure why people recommend this place other than the family friendly service.
Very noisy and congested at early evening. Strong odors often unpleasant. Indifferent, unsmiling service; server never spoke distinctly.
I was disappointed in the slow and confused service. It was obvious that our server was new and inexperienced. I understand that everyone needs to learn but it made for an awkward experience. Food was good but expensive for what we received. Was not impressed with their "famous" tarts. I had assumed they were a tart like a small pie. They ended up being like a "pop tart" only ours were a bit burnt and we couldn't finish them.
Slow service. Another server had to go find our server. It took 20 minutes to put in a drink order. Server brought out the wrong drink. Food and drinks didn’t arrive at the table at the same time. Some people had their food for several minutes before others. One dish came out cold. Not worth a special trip to eat there. Plenty of other places with better service.
First time at a Ted's Bulletin (capitol hill location) and was not impressed. Portions were small, especially for the price. Grilled cheese sandwich contained very little cheese; the Mediterranean wrap had very little chicken and was extremely small. The "seasonal" dessert - cherry cream pie - consisted of canned cherries (not sure what is "seasonal" about that) and a commercial tasting crust. Even though the "bottomless" coffee came in a carafe, it was inexplicably cold. Finally, the kitchen floor was incredibly dirty (you ... read more
