I brought my parents and grandparents here as I thought they would enjoy the setting and more home style menu, but the restraunt was full of parents letting their kids run wild, literally throwing food. The booth behind a was also full of toddlers, and the parents let them sit up and lean over our booth to watch the tv they had going. In addition, I tried to order beer but after being told that three selections we're not available I just have up. Overall a horrible experience. My wife had to go wait outside before the check ... read more

When booking the reservation I mentioned that we were coming to celebrate a wedding that had just taken pace at 10AM. When we arrived, we waited for the Maître D to arrive, and when she did, she had a scowl on her face, and wasn't very warm or welcoming. It was raining and chilly on April 7, 2014, but still no excuse for her attitude...she should've called off that day. There was no recognition of the fact that we were there celebrating a wedding, even though I mentioned it on the Open Table reservation form. We were seated ... read more

Service was extremely poor. The food was very salty and average, nthing special. The decor and ambiance is great. Nostalgic and authentic. Great concept, poor to fairly executed.

I really do like Ted's and always meet some of my friends who live nearby for breakfast so this seemed like the best place to take my sister for breakfast before she got back on the road to head home. The service was really slow, not the food arrival, but the service. It took several minutes for us to be greeted upon which we found a water glass with lettuce stuck to it. It took at least twice that long to get our coffee. When my food arrived I found plastic wrap burnt on my eggs. I didn't say anything but it was really unap... read more

Having done a significant amount of on-line research to find a 'kid friendly' restaurant with a menu brood enough to provide fresh, no/low-sugar options as well as a couple of local 'signature dishes', we settled on Ted's Bulletin and were looking forward to the experience. Sadly the eating and the restaurant did not live up to the hype. The service was slow, the food luke-warm, far from fresh, the sugar content was very high and the remainder of clients were all business-types - not great combinations for small children. I ... read more

I have been here before, and loved it! I was, however, very underwhelmed on this last visit. Steak was very tough, and not very flavorful. Green beans were mushy and overcooked. Strawberry milkshake was fantastic as always! Service was very good. I will try it again, because I know that it has been VERY good in the past. But disappointed with this meal. Had been to sister restaurant Matchbox for lunch - which was terrific.

Bit into something hard (like a piece of bone) in my wedge salad. The silver skin on my chicken fried steak had not been removed making it tough to cut. Not enough tenderizing on the steak.

The 1920s-1930s ambiance was unique and the theme was well portrayed in the restaurant ranging from the newspaper menus, silent movie playing on the big screen, milkshakes and artwork. However the breakfast menu was limited and my food was very bland. The restaurant serve bottomless coffee, but the coffee was not rich and my food was overpriced. I will say the pip tarts and adult milkshakes look pretty interesting even though I didn't get to try them. I may act on faith and try the dinner menu since it looked to be a little ... read more

My overall review is based on the poor service. I had three servers. I was dining alone; sorry to say that I felt the service was lacking as a result but that was certainly the impression with which I was left.
