The restaurant was filthy and had many, many flies. We will not be returning.
Could not get timely service and the tables are way too close together
The food was good but our drinks were horrible. there was no alcohol in our drinks, and when we asked them to remake the drinks they ignored us. we paid $11 for nothing. the service was terrible! I wont be going back
Flies, flies everywhere. Food was good when we weren't swatting flies.
I loved Teds when I fist moved to DC but this experience really ruined it. Food was extremely over cooked like it was forgotten about and reheated. Then was charged twice for the one same meal.
Reservation options were available until 10 PM. We selected a 9:45 reservation and arrived at 9:39. The hostess and waitress were visibly annoyed at our arrival and alerted us when we sat down that we had 6 minutes to order before the kitchen closed. The waitress had an AirPod in her ear and seemed to have trouble focusing or hearing our orders. I normally enjoy dining at this restaurant, but my last visit on my birthday wasn't as I had hoped. What I appreciated was that even though the hostess wasn't at the station to check us in, the bartender took swift action to greet both my mom and I and showed us to our table. Also, the server in training was very kind and tried to be as attentive as he could (I don't remember his name). Food was good but the orders were messed up. They brought the wrong sides ordered on two of the three dishes.
We had a reservation for 1 PM on a Saturday and were forced to wait a full half an hour until our table was ready. Unacceptable service experience when we couldn't just go somewhere else, since anywhere on Barracks Row would be booked up, too. There were no apologies offered.
