I started a home refi with Texas Lending in early September of 2020 and by March of 2021 (six months later), they were still jacking around, making excuses, and requesting more documents. I have the emails too prove it all. I've never seen such incompetence and lack of give-a-damn on the part of any company anywhere. I finally reached out to another lender and got my refi done in less than 20 days, while Texas Lending was still requesting more paperwork. Ridiculous. The only good thing about it all is that the inter... read more

I have used Texas Lending twice in the past and was pleased with the experience so I decided to go back for a home equity loan. I called and they said all the agents were busy and one of them would call me back. Gavin Reynolds did in fact call me back that evening 4/3 (Mon). He seemed really nice and explained my options. I told him I wanted to get the process done ASAP and he told me that if I took a lower amount, we could bypass an appraisal and save a weeks time. He said he needed to check into something and that he ... read more

Worst Loan Experience Ever We have previously closed on mortgage loans 9 different times before this and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. Loan 41052027202. Loan was handled by Susan Ancell and Elizabeth Porter. While we were told to expect to close in about 3 weeks, our loan took 84 days to close. We were provided 4 different closing dates 2/9, 2/22, 3/17, and 3/22. We finally closed on 3/22. If I had not already pre-paid some of the closing costs, I would have just cancelled the loan and gone to anothe... read more

Absolutely a joke, 1st their phones don’t work and it took 6 back and forth just to get someone , then that someone has selective hearing and just laughs and says you can’t do that. Mind you I paid cash for my house 15 yrs ago and home increased over 400k in value with a request of 150out. I am moving into another home next month contract in hand for lesewith option to buy and my girlfriend just started leasing the property I’m about to sell her and she has a 620 avg fica 8 score. But Adrian didn’t bother to hear that and wa... read more

I Went above and beyond to get my debt to income ratio as low as possible and it didn’t help at all. I sent in updated salary info because I recently changed jobs and was make quite a bit more per month that what they originally had me listed at. Texas lending had my student loan information wrong and listed me as paying almost 150 dollars more a month. I payed off my credit card and it did absolutely nothing to my interest rate. Before you sign with Texas lending you need to shop around because there are absolutely bett... read more

I was not happy with the experience we were suppose to close on May 10 and we did not until almost June 10th. It was horrible communications and only time I got guidance was when I requested a call to talk about contents in electronic documents or emails. Working with this company was stressful more then it should have been. My real-estate agent also stated it was the worse lender she has ever worked with.
