This was the worst experience I've ever had with a lender! The entire process was beyond stressful. Trying to communicate directly with a live person took an act of God. My loan was sold almost immediately and because of issues with the escrow account that Texas Lending set up, my monthly payment actually went up $200!!! I'm still trying to get this resolved. Customer service is definitely not this company's forte.
The Loan Officer(Dee Weber) was very pleasant but had a family crisis occur and was unreachable after the first couple of weeks, The Loan Officer's Manager(Chris) was uninvolved until the last couple of weeks and was very condescending on the phone. The Loan Processor(Kaydene) was rude and very demanding of supporting information that had little or no impact to my loan approval. I will never use your company again or recommend them to anyone.

This was my first home buying experience, and thanks to Texas Lending it turned into a nightmare. The problem was poor communication from Jason Hicks. I closed on my home, only to find out TWO WEEKS later that the closing had actually not gone through and had to be redone. Not one word from anyone letting me know what was going on. And the reason it had to be redone was because of an error on the part of Texas Lending. I sent a very long and detailed email explaining my frustration to Jason's superior, Scott Deschene. I neve... read more
The rates were unbeatable but my lender rep Scott was not. He was disorganized and cocky. He kept saying things like “I've been doing this for 20 years” whenever i had anything to say that was slightly different than him. If he has been doing this for 20 years why was I constantly asked for the same things I had already sent? Why did he fail to communicate the appraisal fee and the closing costs? Why did he stop communicating at all after I pointed out that the closing got pushed due to his lack of communication about some s... read more
