There was definitely a communication gap in our experience, because I Informed one of my point of contacts of the update I requested to be made to the documents and it was never filtered down to the correct people. I sent several emails explaining that an update neededto be made to my documents and the updates never occurred. This is my 2nd time using Texas Lending. The first time was such a wonderful experience, so much so I recommended it to family and friends. My first experience was smooth, quick and easy. This time around unfortunately I cannot say I had the same experience. I initiated the loan process around March 15th, my loan finally closed on 4/25, as of today my old mortgage is still not paid in full although a bank wire was sent. I'm so disappointed this time about my experience.

Not happy with Texss Lending. They did not get it right.
Texas Lending dragged its feet past my expiry lock date and then charge ME for an extra 1/8th of a discount point despite their loan officer Bryan Benitez writing me 10 days before the lock expiry promising that Texas Lending would extend my rate lock at the contracted rate. They did NOT honor the contracted rate and then wanted me to pay more at the closing. Chris Johnson of Texas Lending did not honor the promise made in writing by his employee Bryan Benitez. Shameful.
