Management Management Management I moved here because it used to be amazing and I'm on my way out because it is horrible!!! I spent my 3rd sumner sweating with a shotty A/C. They FINALLY replaced the compressor and then want me to sign a new lease and BTW they want to increase my rent. Shocking!!! The trash situation is horrible, the halls/staircases are stained with urine and feces and never cleaned and music is not allowed at the pool. That is just the beginning of a laundry list. WHY take down the pool volleyball net? There’s room for Karen’s to relax, but also people who enjoy fun in the sun. We have a very active community, sad to see. *signs up for book club*
RecommendedWe have lived here for a little over a year and a half now and we could not recommend this complex more. In particular, the Assistant Property Manager Romy Wheeler has catered to every single need and want that we could possibly ask for. She is so patient and so kind and is always finding new ways to improve our already incredible lifestyle here! These apartments are very well maintained, well managed and an all around beautiful property! I seriously could not recommend these apartments enough!
The Boat House is currently giving new residents 3 months rent for FREE. Meanwhile, we continue to get huge increases on our rent. I’m sure current residents including us will have to absorb the cost of the 3 months free. The staff is not even as close to attentive or as friendly as it used to be. Past staff used to waive and talk with the residents. The current staff does not. I would have recommended The Boathouse in past years but definitely not now.
Pet Owners beware of predatory poop fees. $250 a piece no warnings no exceptions. We lived here for 4 months no problems then we had 3 violations in nearly a 1 month period. We ALWAYS pick up because we know how expensive it is. All you get is an aggressive letter to threaten you.
I actually loved staying at the boathouse until - Beware of ridiculous charges when you move out. I gave a two month notice before my lease was set to expire (at the end of July). Moved out of state after one year in Texas days before the end of my lease. After our walk through I was told that I would get approx a $10 charge for minor smudges on bedroom wall. I check my account today and I have over $200 in fees. RENT- but I paid my July rent plus trash. I fee rent fee for Aug 1st and somedays in July. I phoned the office ... read more
This place is not a veteran supporting establishment. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The property manager is extreamly rude and needs to be removed
Poor communication from community/management. No notification that amenity pass is expired from community until an overly aggressive rent-a cop wants to call the police because he can't show what is valid and what isn't but tells 40 people to leave the pool on a holiday. Definitely a negative experience living here. Use to be quiet and clean. Now trash is left in hallways for days because the management won't enforce their rules. So on 5-8-17 my boyfriend, whom is a photographer and videographer for the austin ranch area was racially profiled against by the manager Billy right outside the leasing office. While waiting on a client to come down from her apartment, he decided to get some information about leasing and afterwards stepped out onto the cabana/sidewalk to resume waiting.
