We used to love Peli Peli back in the beginning and felt it had lost its appeal over the years. Happy to say it was much like the original. The decor is much more sophisticated now. Both food and service were fantastic!
Yummy!! Food was awesome. What a great restaurant to the Vintage area. Sticky toffee pudding!!!!

We came for Sunday brunch, Galina was our server, she was amazing, her recommendations did not disappoint. Chef Paul Friedman was so hospitable, came around and spoke to us for a bit too. The food to say the least was delicious, the overall experience was beyond expectations. This was our first time in Houston and because of this experience, I don’t want it to be the last.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a warm and friendly staff member. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. You could see Chef Paul there most of the time. His passion for unique dishes is amazing. They have an extensive menu and everything we have tried is outstanding. You are in for quite a treat. The Gumbo, Vlees Pastei, Crown Salad, Beef Pendurada,Down to the Gulf, and Sticky Toffee pudding are my personal favorites. We try to go pretty often. Enjoy!!
The care that goes into making guests feel special at Chef's Table is phenomenal. The food is excellent, the service outstanding and the chef is accessible to the guests. You can tell he loves his food and loves to share it with patrons. We've ordered many of the items on the menu and have never been disappointed. I LOVE coming here. This was our first time at this restaurant with me and my wife and the food and service was phenomenal! Everything was delicious, from our Calamari appetizer to the Brussel Sprouts, to the Beef Pendurada, and even the cool infused pink water they give as a starter. Our server Galina provided awesome service, making it a special night while we enjoyed our favorites: moules, vlees pastei, and Durban chicken. We topped off our dinner with sticky toffee pudding dessert. There are only three places, that we know of in houston, where you can get this dessert. The chef's table sticky toffee is darker and richer which makes it the best. Chef Paul is a gracious host. He stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our dinner.
