This was my first time at this restaurant, the occasion was a business lunch meeting. I noticed a meal in the lunch menu called Portugese Beef Pendurada. Having vacationed in Portugal with my family 5 years ago, I had fallen in love with their local meal based on beef en sauce. My husband and I spent our 5th wedding anniversary here. Wow what a treat! We did the ‘Chef’s Journey’, I think it was called. It was an 8-course meal that was out of this world. It started light and each dish became heavier. Mussels, to soup, to seafood, to meats. Each bite was an explosion of flavor. Simply amazing. I would have liked it if they had the same concept with the desserts! That said, we were so full when we left. This is a very exquisite experience! Thank you to the staff too. Everyone was so perfect!

Our waitress today was Courtney and she provided excellent service and was very kind. She remade my blue Hawaiian drink because she wanted it to be perfect. As a former bartender, I value that experience immensely. When I went back inside because I forgot my to-go food, she was kind enough to give me a bag of ice to keep it cold on the way home. We (mainly my mother) are seasoned regulars at Chef's Table and would definitely want Courtney to wait on us again.

We went here for our wedding anniversary and Julio was assigned to our table. His service is excellent and impeccable. He gave us two complimentary passion fruit champagne for starters. I ordered the prawns and my husband ordered the 1 lb ribeye. We got the Sea Point promenade as appetizers. Julio gave us a revlon sauce to give more umph to the food.
