To be honest we have had our ups and downs and I suppose it's hard to rate our situation since my sister's condition has changed so drastically since June. They also had the unexpected death of their Care Consultant which I have to take into consideration. For the most the staff is very pleasant when we are around and my sister is a difficult patient. But we still have to go there every day to make sure everything is ok with my sister. I assumed assisted living would be a bit more assisted but leaving a loved one in others c... read more
The facility needs a dedicated Insurance Coordinator. The interface with the insurance company is almost nonexistent. The real problem is the insurance companies and I realize there is really nothing your organization can do about that. The Colonnade is doing the best they can do within the current system
It's a wonderful place with a fabulous facility, great food, and lots of engaging activities. The staff is caring, and I appreciate the improvements being made
I have had really positive experiences but I'm not the resident although to fair my friend doesn't always care for the food and of doesn't always think she needs to be there The price is perfect right now I'm impressed by cleanses and the no bad smells Can not say enough positive-things the staff ALL the staff Special call out to [name removed] She's the best ! [name removed] the CEO is on and follows up Things that could present negativity aren't worth addressing
The reassurance that the first week will be slightly confusing but the staff has been through this with the other residents and the newbie catches on quickly. The foods they like are made specifically for them to help ease the transition. The only other thing needed info on is what items are supplied and what items must be purchased by the resident i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and body wash, etc
My daughter says that the facility smelled like urine! The staff seemed nice. My sister didn't like the food very much. She didn't stay long enough to experience any activities that might have been offered. That is about all I can say.
Employees at the Colonnade are caring and responsive to the residents' needs. Residents have the opportunity to move around the facility independently. There are activities for them to engage in during the day/week. [names removed] have been extremely helpful in assisting me to find answers to my questions regarding my loved one.
We are very impressed with the caring and compassion of the staff and their interest in doing their best. The activities are excellent. Even though our mother does not participate in all of them, we can tell they are well thought out. We receive a schedule every month so we can encourage her. We have attended some activities with her and the staff is impressive. I would recommend them to others.
It was not a good fit for my mother due to her cognitive state and she only stayed 4-5 weeks as a result. That being said I thought it was a great community. The food was good, activities were planned very well. I was very pleased with it.
