The Congress Hotel has really gone down hill in the past 3 years. It used to be friendly. The rooms were not clean, you could see the dust/dirt line on the floors by the bed. There was no temperature control for the room. The vending machines were all sold out on each floor. There was no valet parking, I had to walk inside the doors to find a security guard to ask where to park. There wasn't any specified place for hotel parking. We had to use the lot next door that charged $62 per night. I loved the location.

It got the job done. Needs more maintenance. The faucets in the shower were leaking. In one room, the tv had no reception. The rooms were hot. We couldn’t set any kind of temperature for the room. We heard a lot of traffic noise making it hard to go to sleep. There was not a lot of light in the room. One of our rooms had only one lamp. The lobby was nice. We did ran a race and we enjoyed the proximity to the race.

Do not stay on the third floor. Third floor is completely delapitated and should not be open m. Third floor looks like it is out of a horror movie and so did the room. Not okay.
It was decent No microwave and it smelled humid It was clean, had enough towels.
Fantastic location, hotel is old (that’s ok) but in a bad shape (that is not ok). My room was cold without the option to Room was cold and in a bad shape. Location was great. Bed was comfortable
Okayish place for a one night stay The walls were thin. Could hear other patrons in rooms and hallway and cars driving on the streets below. The phone rang at 2am and then I couldn't get back to sleep quickly. Oh, and overnight parking: $62 a night!! The old timeiness of the building was cool. And it was across the street from our venue
