Went for lunch on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Had the pumpkin and mascarpone ravioli lunch special and french onion soup - both delicious. Even thought there were a decent number of people there that day, it was quiet and our server was attentive without pestering us. Great place. Would love to go back and visit on a beautiful day.
We were in the area and looked up places, decided on Oar and glad we did. Apps, entrees and dessert were fabulous. Great service. I believe Sam was our server.
Returned only to find that service was adequate, not outstanding. Had to ask for water, had to ask for more coffee.
The muscles were outrageous!! A must have! I ate 2 servings of 2 different type muscles. I cleaned my plate.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was very good and selection was good too.great seating outdoors music playing in the background Great water view
We love stopping off here on our way to the ferry to Fire Island or on our way home. The setting on the Patchogue River with boats moored outside is beautiful. The food is fresh and well prepared. It's a real treat!
The staff is always the nicest, had a great time with family.. The food is always good. But a bit on the pricey side..the oyster rocker fellow is delicious ,and don't forget the coconut shrimp..
Good spot for late lunch. Waitress service very good, hostess a little lazy. Food from previous diners left on the floor-had to ask to have it cleaned. She( hostess) must inspect & repair before seating new diners. Bathroom could use paper towels and much better TP. Should have paper placemats on metal mesh table as utensil have to rest on bare (clean ?) metal surface.
Came for a special occasion. Ordered the fried calamari. Must say it was disappointing. The entree was pretty good but the appetizer set the tone. Had to ask for bread halfway through the meal when I noticed other tables had. Overall, although the menu looked interesting, it wasn't worth a 30 minute drive.
