The oar has been one of our favorites for years. Good food ,great bar scene and great staff
My wife had been to the Oar for lunch with a friend and had a great experience. We went back a couple of days later for dinner and were equally impressed. The raw bar was some of the freshest seafood I've ever had. I asked the server (Kyle) if the kitchen could customize my entree and they did to perfection. All of the staff (from the parking attendant through the wait staff) were friendly, attentive and professional. The place was busy but service never lacked. We were seated near the bar and music. At times music was loud and we had difficulty talking with our friends.
Great view, but overcooked food and untrained serving staff.

This was my thrid time here and as always the food was good, the service was good and even when my steak was served overdone they immediately replaced it! That's the sign of a qulaity restaurant that takes care of the customer. The prices are fair and the selection of food and wines are great. I will be back.
