Food was good. Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the october snowstorm made it a quiet night.
Been coming there for years and still love the place,cant wait for summer outdoor eating,.

Nice place for dinner on the water if you choose to sit outside however the surrounding area from the parking lot to the restaurant could be significantly improved
The food was nothing to brag about. Overcooked calamari, fish seared on just one side, burned sauce for a filet, floral taste (overuse of spices) on potatoes, and lacking in flavor diversity (nearly every choice was asian-inspired and then in the end failed on delivering asian anything). The service was great though; attentive but not overbearing.
Always good but very very busy !!!!! The traffic for parking can be difficult...
We love going to the Oar- the food is always great and the atmosphere is inviting. However, on this day we arrived to find that our reservation had not been held even though I was 10 mins early! We sat at the bar to wait for 20-30 minutes, only to see the owner's wife seating her friends with NO reservations at the better tables that were available that night. I thought this was so rude and disrespectful to the customers who did go out of their way to make a reservation. My fiancee and I were celebrating our 12 year annivers... read more
Very fresh seafood!
First time there and it was very nice – quite atmosphere – some live music that was not overbearing. We had a table outside right on the water and it was perfect. The food was pretty good – a little pricey but not terrible. Our waitress could not have been nicer. I would definitely go back and would recommend this as a great casual dining / happy hour type of place.
