Had the chilean sea bass, which was very good. the steaks were also very good, as were the appetizers (clams casino and baked clams)
As usual the dinner and service were both great. We really love having The Oar so close because we know it's always dependable.
Great food. Very fast cordial service. It was a Friday night so the bar was very loud but still a great experience. I will be recommending this place to all my friends and will be returning again.
Always enjoy The Oar!! Food is great, fresh fish always, yummy desserts, great atmosphere , excellent services, good music! Waht else can I say. Beautiful in the summer. Be there!!
Second time here w/friend for late afternoon dinner. Our spot during the holidays!
We were in a small room with a noisy big group so it was not easy to talk.
Food was okay. Room was very noisy.
Lobster Risotto and Duck was outstanding
I was amazed at this hidden gem of a restaurant. Dining outdoors, looking at a marina full of beautiful boats, and the most amazing food...what a treat! The service could not have been any nicer if I were a "regular" there, as the waitstaff was extremely caring and courteous. I recommend the lobster club sandwich. It is piled high with huge pieces of lobster and absolutely delicious. With the addition of their special baked potato fries, it is an extraordinary meal!
