We we were please with the food as well with the ambience.
Great for fresh seafood lovers this is the place and for those who do not care for seafood their burgers are amazing. For my friends and I The Oar is our very favorite venue for getting together. What could be more relaxing than dining on the beautiful bay. Also music for your dining pleasure. Great food, ambiance and service!
Even though we made a reservation, we had to wait quite a bit. However when we did get situated at an outside table it became very windy. We asked if it was possible to move indoors and they were very accommodating. The service was great and the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for outdoor dining and/or seafood.
Nice spot. Right on the water. Try the skillet mussels, they were outstanding.
We had a great dinner. The place was busy and energetic with very good food. We'll go back epically in the summer when it's warm.

Other than the horrible noise level, was great.
Such a pleasurable experience! The owner is a gentleman and our waitress really made our night out relaxing and enjoyable. Can't wait to bring the boat back in the summer with a group of friends.
Excellent!! The hostess/manager(?) was great she was super friendly! She accomodated our seating change and we were able to enjoy a relaxing drink at the bar while we waited. Our server was a bit lagging but the great experience at the door followed by a GREAT lunch, and terrific patio made up for it. We will be back!
