My wife and I did the rail bikes on the Noyo. 12+ miles each way with included lunch at Noyo Camp. The electric assist was very helpful since the rail cars are heavy. The redwoods were beautiful and we got a sunny day! This was the destination of our trip from Southern California so yes it was pricey. We included hiking and lighthouses to average out the cost of the trip.
Price a bit high for short trip but relaxing & now I can say I rode the Skunktrain !
Super fun, short trip. Beautiful redwood trees. This is our second trip on the skunk train (my husband and I). This time we took my son and he enjoyed himself. Will definitely ride again when we visit Fort Bragg in the future!
Fun ride on recumbent tandem e-bikes through deciduous woodlands and redwoods. The guide was knowledgeable and fun (thanks Johnny) and it was so cool to be biking on the “rail” side of railroad crossings. A little effort was required to ride the bikes (but not too much) and the round trip is about 7 miles.
Such an enjoyable experience!! Our guides, Ethan and Ezra were great! There is an electric assist if you want a little help on the hills. Pack a lunch and go…… it was great!!
Nice little adventu… we had a good time..
Unique train experience going to the Redwood Forest
