Great outdoor adventure through one of the best scenic spots along the CA coast. We’ve lived in Mendocino for 22 years and it never gets old. As a Member of MCMR&HS behind the Depot it feels great to be a part of this unique spot in CA.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent train ride at the Fort Bragg station which is the perfect amount of time. We have been on the Willits ride so we are familiar with the longer version of it. Whatever ride is selected it should be a lot of fun for family and friends. The rest stop in the middle of the redwoods was delightful. This is our 3rd Skunk ride. We usually spend the rest of the the time in Fort Bragg ending a perfect day.

My b/f & I did the Pudding Creek rail bike tour. It was such a fun experience! All of the staff was helpful, professional, & knowledgeable. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. The fresh air was invigorating. The only minor complication we had was our battery was dead on the ride to the junction so we had to physically pedal our bike without the assistance of the motor. That was a little rough but it did not take away from the experience for us at all. I would recommend checking your power before departing! Haha. We can't w... read more
