Stay at Tryst, get Less than you pay for! No pool even though in the pictures, it shows a pool guess maybe coming soon zero hot water none! and we were staying in an oceanfront king room 409 on the fourth floor. The very nice lady at the front desk explained that oh yes, a few rooms have had this problem but maintenance is not here to fix it if you'd like you can take a shower down in another room on the first floor,,,,, so we decided to go to breakfast, but when we went to breakfast where the pool may be, they told us do yo... read more

Complete failure Poor design makes the small rooms troublesome. As an example, the small sink is made worse by the installation of a faucet that shoots water onto the floor. There is no outlet near the bed and no way to turn off a light from the bed. The room I was in had an oversized large closet but not even a shelf to stack clothes. Small rooms are expected for beachfront at this price point, and design can make the space work. The space does not work. Staff were excellent. The location was great

location isn’t everything this turned into to a party hotel since our last visit 2 years ago. no hot water to shower with. switched rooms once because of this and it warm water barely lasted rinsing out the shampoo from my hair. if you have curly hair don’t even think about conditioning your hair in the shower. you have exit the shower to finish and rinse off later when the water get a bit warm again. pillows flattened instantly my neck still hurts 2 days later. showers are outdated and don’t match the rest of the hotel. wal... read more

Gross bathroom, party vibe outside, not worth the $ (grab a drink at the bar and stay elsewhere) The room was not great and the bathroom was gross; rust on the floor, dirty walls and shower. The bathroom was also a step up from the room, which not only seemed kind of dangerous, it was also ugly. The staff was responsive and kindly allowed me to change rooms and the 2nd bathroom was cleaner (at least usable - I wouldn't have showered in the first one), but still, not particularly nice and definitely not worth the high price t... read more

Great location, great staff Room was very small and dark, you couldn’t see out the window because is was so dirty . Couldn’t get any hot water for showers Bathroom was tiny Horrible sticky mat on floor The hotel needs a good refurb which I think is in the pipeline - I hope Perfect location on beachfront Very helpful, friendly staff Value for money
