Raised all fees. Went from $12 for a simple nail trim to $THIRTY!! For a simple nail trim?? Affordable Pet Care my ass, for less than 10 minutes MAX of work. Just lost a loyal client. Your company SUCKS!
I am so disappointed with this clinic. I've never experienced such unprofessional service from the cedar park location. This clinic has a bunch of girls that have no idea what they're doing. Especially the doctor. I took my baby in to figure out what kind of fungus she had growing on her skin. They suggested I get a skin scrape done on her. After being told that was the only way to find out which medications she had to go on, I agreed to pay what they asked for. Money I don't have to spend and throw by the way. They told me... read more
What a horrible experience today!!! I took my two cats in in January to have claws trimmed and it cost $30. I was told going forward it would cause $7.50 per cat. So I brought them in today. At the end, they told me the bill was $60!!! They said the price had gone up "a little". Now it was $15 per cat, plus a $15 tech fee per cat!!! Total rip off - and certainly not less expensive than any other vet.
This office has over billed us by $250. Despite the vet calling, explaining the bill, and assuring me it would be corrected, they continue to insist we are incorrect. Thankfully, I have a call recorder on my phone and have record of the conversation with the vet. However, at this point, it would honestly be easier to walk away, look for competent/comprehensive care elsewhere due to the horrible communication amongst the ever changing office staff. You pay for cheap vet care, you get cheap vet care!!! (This review is about the Slaughter/Manchaca location, I cannot vouch for the other locations and I very much hope I have a better experience at the others otherwise I will never come back) First, let me mention I pay monthly to be a part of their VIP program. This is NOT a Veterinarian Clinic to go for anything seriously wrong with your dog. I've waited a couple of months to write this review so as to not do so without results from the experience. I made several calls to different clinics after finding a problem on my dog and THRIVE was the first to return my call with an opening the same day. This place is a JOKE. I hear that their other locations are decent, but this one in particular is horrid - an absolute insult to recommend anyone to go here. My puppies were rapidly losing weight and had every sign of having worms - like literally, physical worms IN their poop... I brought the poop sample in, didnt heard from them for 2 days and finally had to call them myself - they told me the puppies tested negative for worms... we had to do multiple other crappy, waste-of-time things in order to finally get my puppies... read more
Vet misdiagnosed my puppy who had a fractured hip. Due to the fact she was hurt and scared she assumed distemper or rabies.. she even notified the county and talked to me about putting her down!!! I was so distraught I had to call in to work. My baby is now healed and perfectly happy and healthy.. no thanks to this vet. WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE! I wish I could give no stars.
So disappointed. Because I really actually like this place and appreciate the affordable prices. But the inconsistency and poor communication (and straight up INACCURATE information) among employees is astounding. I signed my dog up for the heartworm prescription service (per the encouragement of an employee/technician) -- it's supposed to text reminders for refill and ship them to you in the mail.
