I was 15 mins late (arrived at 11:28am for a 11:15am appt) and drove all the way from cedar park bc this was the only location who had a Saturday appointment available not a single sole in the waiting room and they turned me away for what would have taken a total of 5 minutes to give the shot needed for my dog. Extremely disappointed in the fact that they did not help me book another appointment or check the calendar. Lazy.

The vet was over an hour late. They bill by package. I was told I was getting a $59 package but was charged for a $79 one. Everything was done in a back room without asking me first. I don't have an itemized receipt to know what was actually done. When the vet finally came in, she kept babbling and I couldn't get a word in edgewise to ask a question. I brought my female dog in for a surgery and she comes home with FLEAS. I know she didn't have them before because she was never showing any symptoms. I asked THRIVE to pay for the meds but they wouldn't so I had to buy them. Their cheap ass flea pills were ineffective so I'm taking my dogs somewhere else. They have horrible customer service. Clean your dirty ass facilities and keep dogs with fleas away from dogs that don't have them.

Hi Austin, I understand fleas can be extremely frustrating, as mentioned in previous communications, the staff alerted the co-owner that they saw fleas upon surgical intake. Per hospital protocol your pet was given Capstar which starts killing within 30 minutes and lasts for 24 hours. It is not a replacement for regular preventative, which was also discussed, but that it will help mitigate a flea infestation until started on a flea preventative. If I could leave zero stars I would . There was literally no one in the office and I sat with my dog in a room not checked on for over 30 minutes ! I even tried this location after multiple chances given to the Oltorf Location . Horrible customer service and total disregard for pets .

What was supposed to be a super quick appointment had me there for almost 2 hours. Multiple members of the staff came in to push their pet insurance plans rather than answering my actual questions or taking care of my dogs. This place is NOT affordable either. My puppy was a little bit itchy (probably seasonal allergies) and the staff went through all these rare diseases they could test for, which I declined after they said to me "but dogs usually get allergies around this time of year." Thrive Manchaca is the worst. First, I scheduled an appt online. I got a text saying that I had to reschedule my appt because that time is when staff goes to lunch. Okay. Fine. Whatever. I reschedule for later in the day. When i arrive I inform them that my dog is vaccine reactive. The receptionist chastises me for scheduling the "wrong" kind of appt and says that she has to inform the vet because "they're about to close and your dog will have to be monitored". Incredibly rude. Worst experience ever. A wreck made us 5 mins late and they flat out refused to see my dog. I'll never recommend this vet. I wasted and entire afternoon off of work for nothing.

Wish there was less than one star! Took our dogs in to get a the yearly check up, heart worm and flea treatment. They screwed up the most basic task and gave our Yorkie way too much flea treatment and she had seizures and almost died. Now she can't ever take a flea treatment again, thanks for that guys. Oh, don't get suckered into the concierge vet service. arrived at Noon, first waiting 15 minutes for a receptionist, then when one arrived I was informed the Dr Is not available to help me with a replacement med for my pup, lost a dose.. 2ML worth.. Since no one was there I had to come later. Arrived later in the day and come to find out that the whole 2ML of medication was $10.50? Is this colored GOLD?
