Horrible experience. Had made appointment via phone for 4:45 pm today. Received email confirmation and text and completed on line check in. Arrived at 4:30 pm. I called them from the parking lot to let them know I was here. The gal had no record of my appointment, put me on hold to speak to Doctor, then came back letting me know that they could SQUEEZE me in but the wait would be 1.5 hours!! WTF! They need to figure out how many appointments they can actually handle. They were running 45 mins late on appointments for a 9:30 am appointment. Services are affordable - but customer service is the cost you're paying

THE WORST VET EVER !!!! DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE APPOINTMENT NO REASON TO THEY WILL MAKE YOU WAIT!!!! They made me wait while my dog is bleeding from his paws and not eating at all. DO NOT GO!!!! I called the doctor and she said " everyone has appointment you just have to wait " WTF IS THAT BULLSHIT then they said I was a no show!!!!! Thrive isn't as customer centered as it used to be. They insist on 1 year rabies shots even though dogs can go for 3 yrs and they wouldn't give me some basic flea meds for my cat while I was there with my dog without an exam even most of my old vets would let me just swing by and pick it up as needed. The front desk person wasn't friendly or warm and then after paying for a bunch of extra stuff I didn't need (exam, rabies shot) just to get a nail trim, they cut her quick. After further review of your pets medical chart, it does appear that we did the nail trim, and the anal gland expression as requested, and the pet was cleaned up after this as anal glands can be very stinky. We did all that we could safely do at this visit without the pet having an up to date rabies vaccine and with the pet being more on the nervous side. I have been taking my pets to Thrive since 2016. They lost something when they expanded. They do not answer their phones locally, but use a call service, which is impersonal. Also, they were running an hour behind on appointments my last two visits. Still the vets were nice and it is affordable so I stuck with them despite obvious growing pains. I was 15 mins late (arrived at 11:28am for a 11:15am appt) and drove all the way from cedar park bc this was the only location who had a Saturday appointment available not a single sole in the waiting room and they turned me away for what would have taken a total of 5 minutes to give the shot needed for my dog. Extremely disappointed in the fact that they did not help me book another appointment or check the calendar. Lazy.

The vet was over an hour late. They bill by package. I was told I was getting a $59 package but was charged for a $79 one. Everything was done in a back room without asking me first. I don't have an itemized receipt to know what was actually done. When the vet finally came in, she kept babbling and I couldn't get a word in edgewise to ask a question. I brought my female dog in for a surgery and she comes home with FLEAS. I know she didn't have them before because she was never showing any symptoms. I asked THRIVE to pay for the meds but they wouldn't so I had to buy them. Their cheap ass flea pills were ineffective so I'm taking my dogs somewhere else. They have horrible customer service. Clean your dirty ass facilities and keep dogs with fleas away from dogs that don't have them.

Hi Austin, I understand fleas can be extremely frustrating, as mentioned in previous communications, the staff alerted the co-owner that they saw fleas upon surgical intake. Per hospital protocol your pet was given Capstar which starts killing within 30 minutes and lasts for 24 hours. It is not a replacement for regular preventative, which was also discussed, but that it will help mitigate a flea infestation until started on a flea preventative. If I could leave zero stars I would . There was literally no one in the office and I sat with my dog in a room not checked on for over 30 minutes ! I even tried this location after multiple chances given to the Oltorf Location . Horrible customer service and total disregard for pets .
