Counselor said he was double booked after being 15 minutes late, but his office said he wasn’t. Spent more time playing on his phone than talking to me, and was completely disinterested in helping. Asked for a refund for the session? I was told it was up to his clinic manager and they would be in touch with me. Manager never called. I’ve tried 3 times to get refunded, all unsuccessfully. Avoid these scam artists preying on people who need help.
HORRIBLE. They have been bought out and this new company is horrible. Took $325 out in the course of 5 days and I can’t even speak to my own home office about it. I was under a payment plan agreement of $36 each appointment with my home office and now this company comes in and takes over. I’m so disappointed. My therapist is awesome but I can’t do this call center stuff and money being taken out with no authorization or notification. Ridiculous. So sad to see this company has been ruined.
Awful. Just don’t do it! They suck you in to sign up and pay a monthly fee for extra services. But don’t have a therapist that is a good fit and it is night mare to cancel. Everything goes through a call center. They have no compassion, are not helpful, only read from a script and when asked to speak to a manager got the run around. The therapists I’ve had through them were great, however I’ve been having billing problems. Jan 22nd I was billed $79 instead of $10 for my copay. No insurance changed, everything was the same. No one can tell me why I was charged more. They promised a refund in an email and asked to give me a call back when they had a better idea of why I was charged extra and couldn’t tell me if I would be charged my regular amount or the crazy one at my next visit. We have been with Thriveworks for over a year. My two children each see a Therapist there. As of the first of the year we started getting charged $30 per visit with no explanation. We contacted our insurance company and nothing has changed! I had to disrupt my children’s therapy until they can straighten it out. The billing office and customer service is absolutely terrible. I see from other reviews that I’m not the only one that has experienced issues in this area. Someone should look into fixing it....

We were booked for 3 different appointments. Two were no shows by the doctors, and one didn't take our insurance and charged us $89 vs the $65 that was on the psychology today webpage. This is a big headache, no thanks.

Unfortunately we had an awful experience with thrive works at a time when we needed the most! After a Teenager crisis, we "subscribed " to Thriveworks and received an appointment the next day. Up to this part everything was okay. When we met the therapist, we had a pleasant enough take in consult of which my teenager my wife and I were present.
