Therapist Victoria Riordan was a no call no show causing emotional damage and pain for my father and I. Avoid at all costs.

Stay far away! For those who have had problems, please report them to the Better Business Bureau. Worst company ever. They are trying to scam people and exploit mental health patients. Read all the reviews and see all of the common things people are saying. It is sad when a mental health organization is trying to make a profit and take it advantage of people struggling with mental health issues. The absolute worst.

I have been using your services for the last 7 months and have experienced the most infuriating billing and insurance process. I would like to begin this with how unresponsive and unhelpful your call center for billing is. On numerous occasions both me and my wife have been on hold for over 30 minutes before one of your representatives fumbles through our issue. They take your money. They don’t communicate with you. Their therapists drop clients and they are unable to locate people who can treat you, but they keep charging you. Even when they cancel appointments.

I wish I had read the other reviews before seeking counseling thru Thriveworks. Everything that was said about over billing & no communication is true! This is beyond frustrating that noone is able to resolve my issues with billing. I've called 4 times and sent multiple e-mails. They just put a new document into the portal for review. Each one has been different?! My insurance paid 100% and my card was still charged! This is a scam! I waited 2 weeks to get in with a certain provider to do a certain type of therapy. After a couple months, she told me she didn’t like doing telehealth and we couldn’t actually do what we agreed to. We were also billed for in person sessions(we live in a different city) which our insurance charges more for. Now I cannot get thriveworks to do anything because they went and made their own practice, and thriveworks has no record of us as patients! WTF!? The counselor I was orginally set up with cancelled at the start of the appt. My first session was through zoom because of covid. He did not introduce himself, at first he didn't even have his camera on. He was "not prepared". He told me he hadn't done a session through zoom before. He needed time to get things together. The other issue is billing. They are horrible. I was overcharged for my co-pay by almost $200. I keep getting told that it's being looked into and I'll get a call or email within 24-48 hours. Worst billing department ever. They don’t follow through. Don’t return emails or calls or handle as a “medical provider” should. They have destroyed the careers of therapists who chose to work with them. And they certainly don’t care about the patients or they would want to correct the issues. Shameful. I will be reporting them to the Attorney Generals office in my state. If you have overbilling and they are not submitting to insurance I suggest you do as well.

I made the first appointment , and it was cancelled because the counsellor didn't do couples therapy. ( No one contacted me) The second appointment the new counsellor didn't show. I am very dissatisfied with the way they handled everything. For two weeks i could have searched for other help. This just made us fight more ! Good job guys ! Thanks for nothing
