This place is a joke. I wouldn't recommend this unprofessional company to my worst enemy. Before anything this is a business looking to take your money without helping you the way they claim. They can delete this but I'm already contacting the BBB & the state of MI attorney general. They are a SCAM! $40 fee to be apart of their "elite clinic" but their therapists don't show up and the people scheduling are clueless about insurance so you're stuck with bills you shouldn't be responsible for. $100 cancellation policy but I had... read more

Do not use Thriveworks! Highly unethical and almost certain they’re a fraudulent operation! They debited my bank account without my permission instead of billing my secondary insurance. I never signed the waiver giving them permission to debit my account! They just sent me another statement yesterday showing that I still owe for several sessions. I have gone rounds with this organization in regards to my claims and they don’t have a clue!! They also have now started charging their clients a subscription on top of co-pa... read more

Customer service is a NIGHTMARE! Initial call took 30 minutes to see if they take my insurance and find a clinician accepting new patients. They never gave me a straight answer on either one. This place is a disorganized train wreck. Stay away!!!

UPDATE: They have resolved my problem…. Just kidding!!! 😂 That would be nice if they were a respectable company that followed through with their word. They have actually stopped all email communication with me and are sending me automated emails to call their same customer service number that also doesn’t resolve the problem. Im assuming they don’t want anything else in writing since I have reported them to the better business bureau. Had a 1hr appointment slot, took 10 minutes on our first ever conversation to diagnose me with Bipolar when I came in with the World Health Organization adult-self-screener asking about ADHD. Was prescribed 2 bipolar medications (which I for sure did not take) and then a second appointment was scheduled without my consent. And had they diagnosed me with ADHD in 10 minutes, I also would have been concerned and not taken the meds because you cannot take 10 minutes to diagnose a person. Scheduled an appt for my daughter. Clinician was a no show, reached out via chat and was rescheduled the same day for 11am. Once again, no show! This is completely unacceptable considering this is a mental health issue and you are causing her more stress due to unprofessional staff!

I am beyond upset!!! My daughter missed an appointment because we were all sick with covid and nearly hospitalized I forgot to call and cancel. Home from work unpaid and get slapped with a $99 missed appt fee even after I told her counselor the circumstances! Unreal

Hi Trudy, we're so sorry to read your review. We try to have a very flexible cancellation policy, which is that any session can be rescheduled or cancelled with just 23.5 hours’ notice. We do need to have some cancellation policy though, to protect the time of our providers. We make sure to inform new clients about this policy on our website, over the phone during scheduling, and in an email confirmation.

my therapist quit suddenly and I was left trying to find another therapist on my own. I also think the monthly subscription fee is too much and don't understand that charge. this is in addition to the fee that is charged for my sessions. will be going elsewhere for therapy.
