You said my husband was in-network, but put the claim in wrong and your trying to charge the subscription fee and the visits. Can't get ahold of billing or the counselor to have things taken care of and you still continue to charge. Thriveworks hopefully you won't be in business much longer because this is awful to do to people who are trying to get help from mental illness. shame on you

Good morning Chrystal, we are so sorry to read this. We have sent you a private message and hope to follow up with you soon.
The clinician was 30 minutes late for a virtual appointment and said she had to reschedule because she didn’t have enough time. They charged my card before the appointment though . I am waiting on a refund. I filed a complaint. The clinician was also rude this service is a scam. Consumer beware it is a money grab because there is a shortage of services. We are in the middle of a pandemic and they are profiting off of people in need. Again I do not recommend the appointment was 10/22 at 11:00 the clinician signed on at 11:3... read more

Seriously y'all? I followed your stupid instructions for cancelation. I even spoke with billing to ensure I was not charged anymore yet here I am, 3 weeks since my last communication with you jokers with new charges from y'all! You aren't helping ANYBODY! How exactly does this insanity help when people are struggling with Depression, Anxiety, or just already overwhelmed in general? Scam is an understatement!

Hi Amanda, we are so sorry to read this. We've sent you a private message and hope to follow up with you soon.
My family had a virtual appointment one time. While the therapist seemed nice enough, we decided to go another route. However, a month later and I have had 4 charges on my credit card. I was never informed of any monthly enrollment for “premium services “, which at any other therapist office would be considered regular services. I can’t believe companies take advantage of people who are trying to get mental health services- Thriveworks should be put out of business.

Hi Terri, we are so sorry to read this. We have sent you a direct message and hope to follow up with you soon!
I am a licensed therapist and group practice owner and am very disappointed and concerned about the way Thriveworks operates. I referred a friend to a particular therapist who put them on the calendar because I think the therapist will do a great job. Thriveworks then called for the intake. So far so good. Thriveworks then told them they had to pay 39/registration fee and 39$/month for “premium” benefits if they wanted to see that therapist. They called me and the three of us spoke with the intake person. We were told the pr... read more

Hi Holly, we are so sorry to read your review. We have sent you a direct message and hope to follow up with you soon!
I started Thriveworks with a really positive feeling and was met with nothing but poor organization, unqualified "therapists" and a big fat bill every month. I had absolutely nothing positive to say about Thriveworks even before they assigned me a new "therapist" who "specialized in my specific issues." This transfer happened when my current therpist literally had no idea what to even say with even smaller issues and contributed 0% to all our sessions. I was hopeful that my transfer to Laura Bucco would be a positive transit... read more

Hi Alesha, we're so sorry to read this. We want to assure you that we truly care about our clients and want them to have a positive experience every step of the way. We're going to send you a private message regarding this.
What kind of a world do we live in where we are charging mental health clients a subscription service to get help. This is a disgusting practice.
Business response:
Hi Le-Ann! Our enrollment model allows us to offer beneficial services that insurance doesn't cover — like text support, access to our app Therapy Buddy and a super flexible cancellation policy, you can learn about more benefits by visiting https://thriveworks.com/enrollment/. We do not make our practice inaccessible to clients who are unable or unwilling to pay. When booking a session a waiver can be provided for enrollment.
They will make you pay $100 dollars if your sick with covid and can’t make your appointment. STAY AWAY from this company

Hi Brintney, we're so sorry to see this. We sent you a private message to learn more about what went wrong!
They force you to pay a monthly membership fee on top of the counseling sessions. They were billing me $40 for a membership fee, $175 for my 12 year old to attend each counseling session (my insurance supposedly covered $70 of it. There is much better value out there for the service they offer. And they kept charging me the $40/month long after the sessions stopped. It’s a racket.
