My husband and I both see separate therapists. My husband’s therapist Melissa Landrigan asked for my information and looked me up in the system and provided the name of my therapist and when my next session was. None of this was a secret but I was not her client and she should not have looked me up and provided my information to anyone regardless of relationship. I used this companies services for a few months. I really liked the counselor I worked with named Melissa in NJ Unfortunately I decided to cancel my services all together due to financial difficulties and the FACT THAT THAT THE COMPANY NOT ONCE BUT TWICE I WAS RANDOMLY CHARGED UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES OF RANDOM NUMBERS ON MY ACCOUNT AND COUNTING. I didn’t even have an appointment and I was charged twice for missing them and then billed again today randomly for no reason at all, no appointments, nothing. Currently been on hold for over 10 mins on both of their phone numbers. I highly recommend this place if you LIKE TO GET SCAMMED.

Came here to share about my extremely frustrating experience with their billing department and found I was not alone. Please stay away from this company!!! Extremely sketchy billing practices that consistently charges people a subscription fee even after termination of services with no reliable customer support to remedy this. Now I know that you shouldn’t be paying a monthly subscription to get therapy services anyway!! STAY AWAY

Our counselor was amazing, but she’s leaving. I can only imagine why… The only way to describe this “practice” would be for you to imagine if a Nigerian prince bought out Comcast. Their customer service is just a bunch of con-artists working from home. They are teamed up with the people who sold penny stocks in the movie Wolf of Wall Street (ie. billing department). UPDATE (original review posted October 2021): It’s now been 2 months since I thought this whole thing was resolved and I’m randomly hit with a statement that claims I owe them money. Of course, no word back from Thriveworks to myself or my insurance company. Please DO NOT even begin to work with Thriveworks because chances are you will not be receiving quality mental health services, but instead, an endless cycle of stress and nonsense. I can’t say I recommend Thriveworks yet, I had a very good client therapist relationship with my previous therapist that I was seeing but I was told last minute that she could no longer see me even after asking the company for continuity of care… and so I just moved states because of discharging the military and so I called, had my address changed very clearly to a representative, so we scheduled me with a new clinician here in MI who specializes in my diagnosis and whom I very much so felt I was a fit with, and then on the ... read more

Stay away from this place. Scheduled two appts with them and got the same result. Last minute canceled appts and a charged account. Haven't spoken to a therapist yet!!! To be lied to by customer service is aggravating as well. PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE!!!! Billing has not contacted me!!! Your personal message was a lie Thriveworks!!
