Doesn't work. after installing the toner, the printer kept saying "no toner" . unusable.
Why bother with brother's "genuine" rip off? Didn't get close to 3,000 pages, more like 1,000 (if that). Sure, I tried the old "pull out the cartridge, shake it, and reinstall" -- didn't help. No warning that it was getting low, either. I'm trying something else -- it can't possibly be worse. For about half the price, I'll get twice the print pages with https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NOFNSVG/ref=psdc_172641_t2_B075X6C5ZW. Thanks, Amazon for giving us options.
It's working well but pricey I "upgraded" to the Brother brand higher yield cartridge to save some money per printed sheet. I tried a Brand Z cartridge first, cheaper, but had to return it for refund as my Brother printer kept giving me the *toner is out* message -- maybe it's a smart machine that knows Brother versus Brand Z ? Learned my lession.
The Kodak camera-film economy, deja-vu. Yields are overstated. Chaging cartridges is easy. Compatibles are terrible.
Didn't work right out of the box! I ordered this toner as a back-up and had it on the shelf for about 3 months. When my current toner ran out I took this one out of the factory-sealed wrap and installed it. It was defective. I tried everything but the (Brother) printer still says "open door and replace toner". There is no customer service on the Brother website to ask for a refund or replacement.
Had TWO toner cartridges not work- AT ALL-not even one page! This toner is the one we purchase on a regular basis- Two times this toner has not worked. The printer says "replace toner" on a brand new, just opened cartridge. Will purchase a different brand.
DEFECTIVE I use this toner for my Brother Printer. The toner that I received was not useable and the orange tab was missing. I believe it was defective and so I ordered another cartridge (not from this buyer) because my 1 month return option had expired.
Not compatable with my brand new Brothers printer This was so expensive and did not work. I tried to shake it and had black ink all over my house. Threw it away. Very annoyed and would never buy a Brothers product again
Not recognized by printer The printer will not recognize this cartridge. Went through all of the trouble shooting. Nothing works. A waste of $75.00. I added a star to the review. We were able to use the toner cartridge after calling the customer support telephone number on brother's webpage after exhausting all online trouble shooting. This took several days to resolve which is something I don't expect when buying genuine brother toner for a brother printer.
