Seating was delayed by 30 mins past reservation time. Food was fair - nothing special. In fact, 101 layer lasagna lacked adequate cheese, sauce, and taste. And, waiter tried to pass odd IPA as Peroni. Finally, cost was exorbitant. Find a better restaurant.
Wow!! Needed a place to have a late night dinner after an awards ceremony and ate here. Big Mistake!! Food was subpar. Service was very average. Pizza came to the table cold. One of our orders was wrong and we were told, “This is really good, you should just eat it.” It wasn’t really good. Plenty of other solid Italian places to eat in Manhattan, even late. Can’t hit a home run ever time at bat. Sometimes you ground one back to the pitcher and are thrown out by 40’.
Too crowded! Too loud! I felt very unsafe in the space! They were packing people in…. Nowhere to move.
After being seated, we waited 10 minutes for a wait staff person. The one that arrived looked like he JUST had been hired two minutes ago. He was wildly inexperienced with no training as how to handle an upscale restaurant experience. After he chirped, "So are you ready to order?" I mentioned that we'd first like some drinks. Ordered veal chops and they were not even cooked at all, seating for 2 people was so cramped and people were literally on top of us. Server did not give us any attention and overall was not worth dining here.
The restaurant was a mob scene when we arrived . Our reservation was at 7:15. It was so crowded there was no where to stand. We sat down at 8:00. They were out of many items we tried to order. We were very disappointed that they were out of chicken Parmesan. Our waitress looked exhausted but was very friendly and tried to do her best to accommodate us. It was also very hot and we were sweating eating our food. What we had yo eat was good but I would not recommend the restaurant .
Gluten free pizza and chicken were really unedible
The quality of food didn’t match the premium prices. Our starters were unfortunately luke warm and didn’t taste freshly cooked, the Ragu ravioli had a hint of truffle flavour which wasn’t in the description and not ideal if the person doesn’t like that flavour.
Totally over priced and they don’t split bills I wish they told me ahead my bill was outrageous for the food we were served. Will not be back
