This is not the Trattoria Dell’Arte that I remember from many years ago. It is now completely a tourist spot. I think we were the only “New Yorkers” in the place. It was packed and noisy. In addition, the kitchen clearly has issues. Two of the five veggies on my veggie plate were incorrect and the waiter had to go replace it. He knew as soon as he put the plate down. Overpriced. I had the papardel w/seafood. The clams were chewy and the dish was appetizer size for $33. My wife had the lasagna. It was big but nothing to write home about. $17 & $18 glasses of wine maybe 6 oz.. Never again.
A has-been….. to be avoided. We were seated upstairs in the mezzanine where there was no heating at all - we had to wear our heavy jackets throughout. It was quiet upstairs with no ambience to speak of. The food was generally average but a pasta dish we ordered was heavily salted and inedible. We will not be returning. This place has passed its expiry date.

The food was overly priced for the quality and the decor was something out if Alice in Wonderland
Revisited after ~15 years. Food was nothing more than mediocre, service did not meet expectations given the prices. Will not return.
We were seated at 6:15. Had our food brought to us - after 3 times of ordering and reminding - at 7:30. They were WAY too booked and the wait staff & kitchen simply couldn't handle the volume. The management should never have done that.
The service was extremely slow last night. We do not know if our order was mistakenly not put in. We were seated at 6pm but did not get our main courses until 7:10 pm. When we asked where our meals were, the manager came over and pulled his mask down to talk to us. We immediately asked him to put his mask back up (we were seated and were unmasked).
