Way too pricey! I could not recommend this place, because it is simply too expensive and not worth the money.
Fish came out cold and spoiled. Hot antipasti was lukewarm and portions have been significantly downsized. Order was changed and then came out wrong again. Waited 45 min until the right order came and by then my dining companion was well finished with dinner. Wait staff inattentive. Overly crowded and poorly run. Very disappointing.
This place feels like a NYC tourist trap. The service was mediocre and the food was just okay. The prices are high and the location is great, but give me a break. My dish was not even hot when it came out of the kitchen. The waiters seemed barely interested in being there. We will spend our money and time elsewhere.

Run screaming people - run screaming... This place is basically a very expensive canteen - but actually worse than that as a canteen uses self-service which would have been quicker than that delivered by this restaurant. I joined a long line of people with reservations waiting increasingly impatiently to sit down. The Maitre D (loose term - he had no command of the situation) appeared to have no sense of urgency. had a terrible waitor and that changes everything !!!! Food was not up to par.
I had not been in a long time and we went back for my husband’s birthday. We were stuck in front of the restaurant. Service was fair. Food was not - was cold and tasteless but expensive. $28. for a margherite pizza. Meatball appetizer for 4 was really for 1. My son’s drink tasted like soap. I don’t get it. Food is ok. Tables are too close together, very noisy and overpriced. I guess it appeals to tourists.
I had been to Trattoria before and really loved it. I wanted to plan a special reunion for my family and reserved a table of 10 one week in advance. We had a nice table but I was really dissapointed my food was served cold as well as one of the members in our party. The waiter was kind to reheat it for us but I was not expecting this......not after paying the $500 tab plus the $100 tip. It was also extremely loud. We had to yell at each other.
