Very crowded .. seats/tables are on top of each other ...food was ok .. pricey.. for what It was ...
Staff are always amazing and friendly.
Best cannoli in NYC. Terrific food.
Food is outstanding. Service is mediocre. This is our second time dining here and the second time we were placed in the front section of the restaurant. This space is very tight, hard to walk through due to a large servers post. We were constantly getting interrupted by people walking through. The busboys always seem confused - this time we had to ask for oil/butter for our bread and had to grab a bread plate and fork and knife from the table next to us. Very good food and friendly & helpful staff.
Amazing experience. The food was superb!
Fried artichokes steal the show! Also, the antipasto is fabulous. The scallops were good but not amazing. I would've gladly had two portions of those artichokes!
The restaurant is very convenient to Carnegie Hall, which is why we chose it. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The food, however-meh. We both had baked fish with artichoke hash. The hash was a little too salty and the fish overcooked. We started with a roasted beet and goat cheese salad. It was large enough to be split. Dessert choices were standard Italian. All in all-good, not great.
I've dined here many times when I visit NY. I did not think the food was up to their usual. I will return since I have had many good experiences there.
