I am always worried eating at restaurants near a tourist attraction, but Trattoria dell’Arte was excellent in every way. The service was outstanding (our waiter added a few items to our appetizer without charge), the food was top quality and tasted great, and the location was fantastic for seeing a concert at Carnehie Hall. I recommend this wholeheartedly.

Party of four...we had chicken prepare 2 ways, Italian style and Parmesan style with pepperoni, salmon with lentils, and the most incredible Bolognese lasagna I’ve ever had. Just delicious!

We snagged an outside table in between shows of Angels in America on Wednesday afternoon! The atmosphere was casual, yet upscale and we truly enjoyed the people watching down 7th Ave. The food was amazing! I will come all the way back from Colorado just for the the meatballs!
I have been to this restaurant many times and always look forward to a selection from the vegetable and other all time favorites. This time my friend and I added the Dover sole to our selection and we were licking the plate. It was the best Dover sole that I have had and I ordered it whenever it is on the menu. My friend said that this was now her favorite restaurant and we can't wait to return. The service and staff were outstanding and the executive chef even came to visit as I was celebrating my anniversary.
Excellent service. Roasted vegetables were great. Signature chicken Parmesan is delicious but much too big for one person.
As always this restaurant has all the New York charm and 100 layer lasagna. Fried artichokes make this an experience not to miss expensive but worth it
The experience was FABULOUS!!! The food was superb and the entire staff made our experience the best EVER. We will never forget our best night in New York.
