great food and excellent proximity to Carnegie Hall concerts.
Been here several times. Always great. Service very accommodating (I needed to change table after I had been served drink and bread-no problem, sir). Food was all terrific. Had the plate filling chicken Parmesan, and again the next day. Prices are not low but fair for quality and quantity. Wine a tad on high side (most around $15/glass). Can be a bit noisy (festive) when crowded but on a Thursday it was perfect.
The Maître'D was super nice but the rest of the staff was terrible!! We had to beg for water and olive oil for bread. Quality of food was great, service not so much.
The food is amazing. Started with the Pizza Margerita made with barrata. Next was pasta (cooked al dente to perfection) with seafood. We shared the 44 oz porterhouse that was amazing! The service was excellent and attentive. Can't wait to go back!
Service was amazing , I ordered a pesto Ravioli that tasted fabulous, unfortunately the first bite I realized that I tasted pine nuts, which I am allergic to. The Matre'd came over and I explained my problem within minutes I was brought another wonderful pasta dish. They were very accommodating and I can't wait to go back. Perfect pre-Carnegie Hall spot.
My parents loved their dinner!!
The food was excellent...a bit pricey ..but we are willing to pay a little bit more if the food and service is great..which it is..mark up on wine three times plus liquor store prices. But we will be back. The lobster salad was fabulous and the filet mignon was perfect..we certainly enjoyed our meals..the red snapper with tomatoes and capers was the best red snapper presentation we ever ate..
Three of us got something totally different and we we all pleased. The staff were all very pleasant . The ambiance was very attractive. The only negative was the large, loud group at the table right behind us. Great midtown location and I would return .
The antipasti selections cannot be beat. And you can eat there every night of the week and never repeat.
